N/A cars don't need/have heat exchangers. The car in those photos has a heat exchanger exactly where it was located on the previous GT500. That said, I would love a high-revving NA car with a stick.
I did see that and was intrigued. I was just sharing the info that I've heard from people sitting closest to the campfire that have been privy to that knowledge before most folks.

please no to Dark Horse Boss. I really don’t want them to go the way of Dodge and have a whole sentence as a trim level. Boss by itself would be fine imo.
Seriously who cares what they call it. And what it has. Just give us something. We'll find a way to rip it apart after they announce it.

The licensing contract came up and Ford decided not to renew it. So for now no more Shelby/Cobra badged Ford cars.
I remember seeing something like that, but then again Shelby American used to do just the gt350 while Ford had the license for just the GT500 at one point. Wouldn’t be surprised either way though.

Well, “Boss Hoss” does have a certain ring to it…

Got it. So just no more Shelby cars like the GT500 can be ordered from Ford directly. But Shelby American is still doing their own conversions.
Def the case. Stopped by Shelby American this month. Pics in the epic Drives thread

Fingers crossed it’s a 7.3L Megazilla. Pair that with a manual. Maybe call it the “Boss”. That would make some sweet noises.
A 5.2 AWD hybrid would be my personal pic. Something with a GTD motor and electric assist could easily make 1,000 HP, and would be a bat out of hell on a drag strip. Plus if they developed AWD by having electric motors on the front axle, they could basically bolt that same setup into a mustang raptor, or other variants where AWD made sense.

The GTD and dark horse are already pretty compelling track cars, I'd love it the gt 500 became a little more straight line oriented again to differentiate it from other mustang trims. A 1,000 HP AWD hybrid could easily run into the 9s and would be an absolute monster.
