The standard GT engine has a few more updates than meets the eye. The connecting rods are updated as it now shares the part # with the 21+ F-150 engine. You can see the flange is a tad thinner, which is likely resulting in better throttle response/ less windage losses. For N/A lightest and strongest possible is the goal, heavy rods sap up power. ML3Z-6200-A is the 2021+ F-150 rod that the GT is now using 2024+. The older rod is CR3Z-6200-B. The 14th gen F-150 version of the engine also got a 87 mm throttle body like the Mach 1 and Billet S550, ditching the 80 mm after 2020. It’s funny, the S550 Mustang 5.0 (besides Mach 1) was actually running a smaller throttle body than the pickup truck version since 2021.

I can't tell from the pics...But, I'm assuming the ML3Zs...Do not have the big end machined for the bearing tangs...??
