Delivery starts tomorrow!! (says Ford Chat)

I concur. One of my local dealers has had a 24 in transit for weeks. My contact there said he doesn't even have proof it's built yet

My dealers site has shown my car as “in stock” for a few weeks. All of their customer orders are listed as in stock. The regular lot units just say dealer ordered.

Fairness wise question:

Some of us has his car already produced in May, and some of us will have his car produced in late July or early August. Now assumingly Ford starts delivering the cars next month in August, do you guys think Ford will deliver all produced cars (by the time of delivery) in the same time despite which car was produced first ? and do you think that will be fair for the first to order (excluding people who's having the low supplies problem)

This is a good point. In general, I'm starting to wonder how quickly Ford can get all of those Mustangs on the train or on trucks and out of the plant once Ford green lights the deliveries.

I assumed Ford would change the eta but fortunately they haven’t. My eta continues to be 7/18-7/23.

My salesperson has also mentioned it is awaiting pick up. Can this truly mean they’ll arrive later this week? 🥲

Last Wednesday my estimate was 29 jul-4 Aug. Today I was told it was 28 July-3 Aug so it moved 1 day earlier. I’d like to believe this isn’t just an accident and things are getting firmed up- however to the best of my knowledge none of the customer vehicles built have been “assigned to shipper” yet.
