    Cutting Open Intake Grille

Anderson Composites told me they are making one with open mesh in that area but they don't have an ETA on that part yet.

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

Nice, I'm guessing the shock is the first thing that would hit back there? Have you noticed any rubbing since driving it with your new setup? Do you have any pictures straight down the side kind of that would show how much the tires poke out of the fenders / rear quarter panels? It looks like...

You might want to check your air intake / snorkel.

I have my front fascia off right now and noticed on the passenger side when Ford installed the front fascia they pinched my air intake / snorkel in a weird manner which I believe would disrupt air flow slightly. My driver side was perfect. You might be able to tell if yours is this way with an...

I took my GT convertible to a certified cat scale today. Here are the results. ( GT Convertible Certified Weight )

Nice! Love the paint on those and I'm jealous of the air intake setup over the GT. I was just curious to get an accurate baseline weight before I started modding the car. My first set of mods are all weight reduction mods for the most part so I just wanted to get a starting point that I could...

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

Looks awesome man! I think you nailed it. A couple follow up questions if you could help me out. 1. I like the way your setup fills out the wheel wells. Is your car lowered? 2. Could you share the offsets on your rims ? 3. On that last picture about how much clearance do you have? It looks...

Does anyone know what the widest wheel we can fit in the back of the S650 is?

I see. Do you think you will get a smaller sidewall next time you change your tires or adjust the ride height possibly?

I took my GT convertible to a certified cat scale today. Here are the results. ( GT Convertible Certified Weight )

My car doesn't have the track pack but it does have the Brembo brake package and the active valve exhaust systems. It is 401A fully loaded on the inside. It is a manual transmission. It doesn't have a spare tire because a spare tire wouldn't clear the Brembo brakes so Ford included an inflator...

Does anyone know what the widest wheel we can fit in the back of the S650 is?

Apparently the overall tire height difference between 355/30/19 and 325/30/20 is only 0.3" inches and only 1/2 of that would extend upward into the wheel well. Is the top of your tire about to hit the shock mount or like 1/8 inch away from hitting it or something? I'm not sure what the first...

Does anyone know what the widest wheel we can fit in the back of the S650 is?

So if I understand wheels correctly your setup with a 12" width places the centerline at 6". The +46mm ( 1.811 inch ) offset means your setup has a 7.811 inch backspace? Looking into your wheel well do you think you would still have clearance if you were running 20 inch rims or would you start...

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

I see you guys carry Vertini wheels. I'm trying to decide between the RotaryFlow Forged RFS1.9 and the Fully Forged VS21. Do you know what the typical weight difference is between RotaryFlow Forged and Fully Forged at the 20 inch size? Vertini lists the 20 x 11 RotaryFlow Forged at 26 lbs but...

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

I'm trying to run the widest rear drag radial I can to get out of the hole and improve my 60 foot times but I don't want a bunch of poke past the fender either. I'm willing to buy custom fully forged rims so I'm just trying to max out my investment. Depending on what I can find out I'm going to...

Official ATLAS BLUE Mustang S650 Thread

Nice! This was going to be my spec if I went with a coupe instead of a convertible. I'm hoping Ford brings the glass top back for my next Mustang.

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

Cool, I would really appreciate it. I'm interested in how much clearance is left between the sidewall of the tire and the shock or whatever would hit first if you notice that during install.

    Roll Bar / Roll Cage

What I don't understand it that they let motorcycles run and all they have to do is wear a helmet, 1 piece clothing, boots and gloves. It seems to me a convertible with seatbelts and several airbags in it is way safer than any motorcycle could ever dream of being so the restrictions seem...

Widest 20" setup in the rear?

I'm wondering if anyone out there is running a 20" rim with some wide rear tires that could share their specs and/or photos. It looks like most guys are running 19" rims with the wider setups but the rims I'm looking at just look better in the 20" size as the design is complex and the larger...

    Roll Bar / Roll Cage

Thanks for the intel! Have you ever ran a 1/4 mile top up and top down to see what the difference is? My car seems a little slower with the top down starting somewhere around the middle of 3rd gear. I have a 6 speed manual.

    Roll Bar / Roll Cage

Anyone running a roll bar or roll cage? Just wondering if there is anything out there for convertible models. My local track requires one for convertibles to run although the guideline doesn't make much sense to me as far as what type of roll bar / roll cage they are talking about.

How did Steeda put 4.09 gears in a S650 that has no access to tuning?

I was under the impression that these cars had to have tuning unlocked before we could do gear changes. Does anyone have any ideas how Steeda swapped rear gears without tuning? Would it just throw the speedometer off a little or something?
