Ford's email feedback loop is atrocious - I swear they're doing it by hand. Chat is the only way to get an answer, timely or otherwise.

It's normal. Ordered mine right when the order banks opened on 3-27. Haven't gotten a build date or vin either. Some people have put their order in two weeks ago and have a build date already

Even with chat, 2 weeks in a row, I got the exact same response (word for word) verbatim. They working on autopilot as well.

Only thing I've heard is from Ford chat. They gave me a vin at least. Have you tried them?

Yea, they can tell you when there is a VIN and build date as that is where I got mine from so you probably don't have one yet. I just checked with them like once per week on Fridays until I had one. Fridays because it seems like scheduling is usually done throughout the day on Thursdays although I don't think they schedule every week. Seems like they schedule regularly for 2 weeks followed by a cleanup week followed by a no scheduling week possibly. They were clean up scheduling this week so it's a wait and see on what they do next week. They might start scheduling some July builds. Last week / early this week most people were getting 6/26 build dates so June is probably pretty much full.

I am not in a big hurry. But I also dont want to wait a year! How quick did you get the official email with VIN and build date after you got the info from the chat?

Ordered on 3/27. Got my VIN and build date from chat on 4/21. Got official VIN scheduling email from Ford on 5/1.

You're welcome. My current status is "waiting for the tracking tool on Ford's website to start working for my order." Kind of funny being the email Ford sends out once you have a scheduling date has a link to go straight to the tracking tool and it automatically plugs in your VIN and order code but ultimately doesn't return any results when I click on track. Still waiting for that to actually work.

Whoever is ordering parts or chips I bet is trying to order them the same way they did it pre covid and just doesn't realize that things have changed for the worse- meaning parts shortage and chip shortage, so the 2024 mustang and Darkhorse is the new 2022 bronco mess all over again!!!!!
And I lived / ordered a bronco through that waited 2 years for that bronco!!! God, I hope this isn't a repeat of that!!
