So I order 3 DH Fully Loaded and was waiting to see which one came's in first to purchase, just received 3 calls from 3 dealers.
" From the Dealer " Any open DH orders with Performance Pack that hasn't been built will not be built until further notice, Please cancel
the order if the customer will not except the change "

It must be true if I gotten 3 calls from 3 different dealers.

FYI Call your dealer bout your DH order.
We were informed that Handling package is not available the rest of the year. See copy from email I received from Ford:

In response to plant requirements, the following Mustang Dark Horse RETAIL orders must have the 67P Dark Horse Handling Package removed, so they are eligible to schedule this Thursday, 11/30/23. Please amend these orders or you risk losing your allocation. Package 67P is not expected to be available for the remainder of the model year.
Il wait til April to get my dark hose with HP. Price on loans right now for cars is crazy high so it’s bitter sweet
If you do not remove the HP it looks like it might not get built!

I heard different, ford still had the handling package on there website when building one. I’m sure if they obsolete it, it would’ve not been there, I believe that it will be the second job when they are making fresh patch. That’s money they on losing on upgrades. Ik probably cancel if they send out a mass email to customers on them not making any production for HP

I wouldn't be so sure on that. A lot of times the marketing team doesn't speak to the supply team.

If you're relying on the website, don't forget this pop up that requires you to hit the acknowledge button.

2024 Mustang®
Due to a combination of high demand and global supply-chain constraints, not all models and trims or features are available to order. Contact your dealer for available inventory stock or future availability.

And we all know the build & price has been accurate since the order banks opened.

My dealer is talking directly to Ford reps and they can't provide a clear answer. I am Allocation #3 of 5 for this dealership and they already fulfilled the first two. I have yet to be notified about dropping the HP. Seems like some dealers are being told the package gone for the rest of the MY and some dealers are saying it's "unavailable until further notice" which was the situation with Mach 1 HP's.

With that being said, I asked my dealership to draw up an invoice for HP parts minus the wheels, tires, and revised chasis tuning. Surely they have everything else available.
My dealer just got back from Ford and this is what they told them:

"The current facts are that no Dark Horse Handling Package will schedule from Jan-Feb 2024. The earliest would be March if that package becomes available again. As of right now, we don't know whether that is the case or not."

I instructed my dealer to continue drawing up the invoice for the Handling Package parts and to let me know if they receive an allocation from Ford between now and February. I do not believe the Handling Package is dead for the remainder of the MY. If you are patient enough to wait until Feb-March for more info on HP availability and really want it, then keep it on your build. The Trofeo RS's won't be useful until then. Otherwise, drop the package to get it scheduled faster.

How does this info come from so many people, then backed by a well respected dealership, only to be met with skepticism?!? it isn’t freaking happening if you have the HP, accept that and hope for 2025, or move on to another plan.

I know you have access to information that I don't but I am not sure that is correct. My window sticker for my dark horse says 255F/275R/40R19 SUMMER TIRE and I didn't order the handling package. It might be that all dark horse orders will be delayed because summer only tires are the only tire they put on the car. I do have a premium but I don't think that applies to the tires.
I would really have preferred it if they hadn't put summer only tires on the car but I suspect it isn't going to be cold enough here for that to be a problem.
DH comes with 305 and 315 30x19 that on my DH handling package

Sorry to hear that…but I didn’t order the HP with mine back in early September…still awaiting a production date…none so far (6 months)…but Ford is able to send DH’s overseas everywhere…not taking care of domestic orders first…I think they forget it’s the American customers who helped build their company…
