Check the oil level on your new Mustangs ASAP

So not to start an oil argument, if it reads full synthetic, it’s synthesized conventional oil with a changed molecule. If you wanna run a true synthetic oil, the bottle needs to read synthetic oil like Royal Purple or Amsoil. . Both about the same and give outstanding lubricant properties.

You may be right. All I’m saying I I use Motorcraft Full synthetic on my last 3 Coyotes.

I have 155 miles on my 25 DH and decided to pull the dipstick. The level was barely and I mean barely touching the lower dot. I put a 1/2 qt of oil in it and it now registered right in the center of the cross hatch area.
I had heard Ford is shipping these things ‘low’ on oil and it appears how you look at it the levels are 1/2-1 qt low from the factory.

How do you guys check the oil? When the car is cold or wait 5 minutes after normal driving?

Oil take time to drip out of pistons into pan.
Cold is most accurate

full 10 quarts of oil on change only got me ro the bottom dot cold. maybe 9.5 would work in gt without oil cooler but seems low for dark horse. 10.5 gets toward comfort zone

On my wife’s old 2022 GT convertible 10qts put it right in the middle of the hash marks. I put 10.5 in it to keep it at the top.
Our S550 had a plastic oil pan and as I understand the S650 has a metal pan. Don’t know yet if there is a capacity change between pans.
