How was your car behaving now? are your still having issues not starting?
After I cleared all the codes it has not happened again ( unable to duplicate customer concern as we say in the bays) but I am now carrying a 10MM wrench to do a battery disconnect/clear codes/reset if it happens again.

There are stored codes in the ECM but not as many as were there when it happened.

I do have the data stored on my Snap On Solus Legend scanner that I can show them I guess.

I don't drive the car much, I've put 1000 miles on it since August, it has 2700 miles on it now.

1000 break in miles over 2 months (Mid June to Mid August) then it got a dealer oil change service and I put 700 miles on it bringing it to its new home in FL, and 1000 miles since it got here.

My point being it will be a while before it is due for an oil change and that is when I will have them update the software per the TSB

But this morning After 8 Hours of charge time ON my Norco 1amp Wall Charger It fires up. but my Voltage Says (13.5) while driving? is this Normal? Let see If this will start again later I will unhook my charger all day today and try to start it tonight and will see what happens.
Newer cars have a battery condition sensor and the ECM controls the charging not a voltage regulator

When I was driving around after this happened to me, I had the voltage data up on the gauge cluster and it was all over the place from 12 volts to 13.7

When I put on something that loaded the system down, such as the defrosters the ECM reacted to the draw the battery condition monitor was sending it and it raised the voltage to maintain the battery charge

So if you are not used to newer cars ( Ford 2017 to present especially, but For had been using ECM controlled charging on some cars for over 2 decades now) it might throw you for a loop.

You might not be familiar with the charging methodology and the need to reset the charging system after replacing a battery. Remember this for down the road.

Another thing you will find is that if you don't use the car for a couple of weeks, even with a battery tender on it, the Ford Pass App will notify you that the car has gone into battery save mode and has shut off things like the cellular and wireless modems so there will be no OTA updates, remote starting using the app and other features.

SSM 52286 2024 Mustang - Intermittent No Crank/No Start Condition With
Various Lost Communication DTCs Stored In Various Modules And Multiple
Illuminated Warning Indicators Displayed In The IPC - Built On And Before 08-
Feb-2024
Some 2024 Mustang vehicles built on and before 08-Feb-2024 may exhibit an intermittent no crank/no start
condition with various loss of communication diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in various modules and
multiple illuminated warning indicators such as: anti-lock brake system (ABS) warning indicator, parking brake
(red) indicator, brake warning indicator, parking brake (yellow) warning indicator and/or parking brake (red)
indicator and/or stability-traction control indicator displayed in the instrumental panel cluster (IPC). To correct
the condition, reprogram the ABS module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair
System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use the causal part number 2005 and applicable labor
operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Happened to me this morning. Throwing all kinds off errors and service messages....car won't start, and even if I start it via the remote app as soon I go to D it shuts off. What is happening ?

Should I tow it to the dealer or is there a remedy to fix that ?

Disconnect the battery at the negative terminal, let it sit til the capacitors drain any residual voltage, hook back up and the car should have reset.

Take all your pictures and go to the dealer and tell them you need the TSB I have referenced above done,

I'm not letting anyone put my car on a ramp truck if I can avoid it, it is too low in the front.

I waited for 15 min and then remote started it with the key . I will take it tomorrow to the dealer and show it to them...

Same issue with mine this morning. Remote started it with the app (I’ve done this every morning for a while). I hop inside and turn it on, all warning lights pop up. Put her in drive and the car shut off and wouldn’t start, so I grab my battery jumper. Turns over , and does the same. So I disconnected the negative terminal wait a few seconds and she turns on. No warning lights, battery reads 13 volts. Turned on every time after. I’m assuming she couldn’t detect the fob due to a lot remote starts. Car has 3,100 miles. Electrical issue for sure. But so far so good.

I had taken it to ford. They were able to see all the error codes via scanning but not sure what they are. Maybe that is an excuse to force people to do the update for eh auto start stop. lol.
