I recently received my Mustang Dark Horse from the dealer, but I was surprised to find that the remote rev feature does not work, even though the car has an active exhaust system. I have tried all methods to activate it with the car key and watched YouTube tutorials. My conclusion is that the remote rev feature might not be working because the dealer may have disabled the feature in the car's computer. Can I enable the feature using the FORScan program or verify if the feature is indeed activated and not disabled? Please provide an explanation with pictures, as this is my first time using the FORScan program and I have no experience with it.

Yes, My car is auto. I believe the issue might be due to regulations. Can I enable it using FORScan?

Make sure you wait long enough after cold start. It takes 15-30 seconds after cold/warm start before it will work. So wait until the tone changes after initial startup then do fob sequence. I thought mine was broke too until I found this out.

Most likely, the manufacturer removed it, knowing which market it was going to.

Has anyone been successful enabling remote rev on a car with it disabled?

Did you manage to get it enabled? If so, did the dealer activate it for you?

Nop, i asked them about it, they said it's intentionally deactivated for Middle East version. But it can be done through FORscan, but i don't want to void my warranty.

I don’t see the risk of voiding the warranty by simply removing such restriction as the car functions with it perfectly fine in other countries. I don’t think it’s illegal to have a remote rev function, it’s illegal to exceed certain dB limits but the light rev noise it makes is certainly less than when you put your foot down...

I didn't mean voiding warranty by using remote rev, i meant by changing the car default software settings using Forscan, they can say you messed with the car.

I didn’t say voiding it by using remote rev, I was talking about removing the limitation in the software that has switched off remote rev - but again, how would that void warranty if it’s a standard feature on the car that’s just been disabled?

This worked on my German GT, where it's turned off by default.
