Also, I did notice that when the white DRL is on, and the turn signal is activated, the white is on when there is no amber light on...if that makes sense. So when the sequential function goes through, it starts as all 3 lights amber, then 2 amber and 1 white, then 2 white and 1 amber, then all white. The sequence repeats. Can not confirm if it did this before the above changes though.
I saw that white DRL on with the turn signal on US cars in some YouTube videos. My Australian model doesn't do it and was trying to figure that out. Thanks for this result I will give it a go.

there is a little nuance to when the DRL comes on, because it only stays on when the indicator is active when its dark outside. otherwise, the DRL shuts off when the indicator is activated and fades back on when its shut off

I just finished checking all differences for the second time.

HCM between GTD and GT is identical
LDCMA between GTD and GT is identical
BCM has 4 different lighting settings between GTD and GT that has to do with front LED/DRL/Turn signals. These are exactly the lines that I changed yesterday with no luck.

These are the 4 adresses that are different between the GTD and GT that I changed with no luck.
GTGTD

I'm pretty sure my car is a Job 2. Production date 29 september 2024.

What I also found out that the GTD has these adresses that my car doesn't have:
726-90-020000000000BF
726-97-010000000000C5
726-97-020000000000C6

And I also have these adresses that the GTD doesn't have:

726-239-0100000000F0
726-240-010000000061

I need some input from somebody else. I think I can't go further without it.

What do you need?
I’m familiar with ForScan and understand the basics behind it. So if you can tell me what addresses you need to see, I can screen shot them for you. I do t know if I have a job 1 or 2, will have to find my window sticker to confirm.

I already checked all adresses.
I need somebody who can think further with the information we have at the moment.

The guy who got it to work did it on a 2025 Mustang. Maybe that's the thing..

The 4 BCM lines should be programmed by somebody who has a 2025.

Gotcha.
I wish I had a GTD to mess with.
The missing and different addresses seems to be the issue. There has to be a way to add or write those addresses to the vehicle. Not sure how, but there has to be a way
I know it seems trivial just to have Amber DRLs but there has to be a way. LOL

One thing we don't know... if all GTD's actually have amber DRL's... watching the one going around the nurburgring had white DRL's, so comparing the asbuilts may reveal no clues. Sorry I'm of little help with that...

We've been fooled this whole time. Ford took a publicity shot, using the hazards, like people on here, bastards!!!

No idea if this is true, but it's what I'm going to tell myself when I see someone post on this topic. Hopefully I can resist the click (won't happen)

Alright, I went back to my car to see if all values are correct and I might found the issue. And it's bad news.

I checked all lines again to see if there was any mistake and at first I thought I found the mistake.

726-21-01 is the line where the GTD has 0101 0101 01-- and my GT has 0202 0202 02--

01 means Enabled, 02 means not available

And not availabe doesn't mean it is disabled, because 00 is the value to have it disabled.

So I changed it back to 01 and you probably already guessed it. BCM changed it back to 02 again because it is not available.

All other lines where okay except for this one. This means the GTD has another BCM and I'm guessing that maybe the 2025 models or only the Job 2 from 2025 may get this to work.

Do you have a GTD VIN by chance?
I can search my parts catalog on Monday and see if there is a different BCM part number for it VS my GT BCM part number. There may even be different wire harnesses as well.

it would seem odd that the GTD and other trims would have a different hardware configuration but who knows.

LMAO.
Let me see what I can find next week. If the BCMs or even the headlights are different, then this will not be easy. But if it’s a wiring or harness issue, then we can figure it out.

Ford's ECat does not know some GTD VINs yet, i tried. there are also no BCMs listed for the GTD in general. HCM is listed as NL1Z-13K198-T, GWM is listed as PU5Z-14G490-AU, LDCMA/B is listed as P3HZ-13C788-D, and headlights are listed as PR3Z-13008-X for left and PR3Z-13008-R for right. apart from the gateway module, all of those parts are also used on the regular Mustang. BCM software number is the same, its been demonstrated that it can be done per-side so the HCM software is irrelevant, which leaves the LDCMA/B software. its also been mentioned that 2024 Job 2 and later are the only ones capable of having this change done, and from my samples, the GTD, 2024 Job 2, and 2025 Job 2 have the same LDCMA/B software number. this is 100% a software change, we just need to find it

100% that the headlights are different. There are tons of different headlights if you search for the part numbers, but we don't really know why. Even on the GT's and Dark Horses.
