Thank you posting this @roket. I just built my car again online and the price went up $6000!? That's in DH territory for 2024! It's hard to tell how much darker that new molten magenta metallic tricoat over the rapid red of years before. It looks pretty sexy though! Still happy with my 2024. Still no eruption green, either, which makes me happy as I LOVE that color with the BAP. I would hate to have color remorse.

Anybody else wish they'd waited til '25?

Wireless charging removed?
They must know there is a problem with it.
I did a few quick reads of other Ford forums.

- Bulky. Takes up a lot of space (depending on vehicle model)
- Phones get hot
- Doesn't always work well when using protective covers
- See above. Can be slow to charge

It's nice Ford tried it, but it would seem a simple USB port is the best tool.

Especially for the Ecoboost. The 100A with a Performance Package was $37k in 2024 and an easy recommendation for someone looking for a sub-$40k sports car. Now, even the Premium EB can't option the 3.55 Torsen or Brembos.

@roket (I know, wrong forum), but any chance they posted ‘25 Maverick order guides?

Wow, got rid of all the colors that are a color. Doubt that one new one will satisfy everyone wanting the colors they deleted.
I would have gotten Atlas, so no ‘25 for me. Helps me wait for the dash refresh 😀

Heat and slow charging is a given with wireless charging. Anyone expecting their phone to charge with the same characteristics as using the USB/Lightning cable need to understand how wireless charging works and the pros and cons of it.

I myself quit using it because I have a case on my phone and at times, my phone got so hot to where the response time was abysmal, in addition, the phone needed to be in a precise location (at least in my scenario) for the wireless charging to work. Nonetheless, I'm still appreciative of the feature.

Back on topic, I feel pretty blessed that I was able to get my Mustang when I did, even though it was completely unplanned.

Sync seems to be different. I looked back. It was just Sync 4.0 in 2024. For 2025 its sync 4.0 QNX

Agreed! There are options I ordered on my car that are no longer available...Atlas Blue and the red seat belts with Carmine Red interior.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's a downgrade, but more of an upcharge (aside from the automatic not being an extra charge) for some options that were originally considered standard and then an upcharge in general for the other packages (i.e. Bronze Package, brake caliper colors, etc.).

Sync seems to be different. I looked back. It was just Sync 4.0 in 2024. For 2025 its sync 4.0 QNX
I think it's still the same, they just added more detail. QNX is just the name of the operating system (Unix system based). Think of QNX as the back end and Sync 4.0 is the front end (i.e. what you see and interact with).

Glad I got the fully optioned Ecoboost when I did... gonna be a rare gem!

Wow, so now your only color options are red, white, and blue? I mean, I love America too but I want more options. I'm growing tired of boring colors. Next time I want some COLOR.
