Race car or where is this taken from? Can't be the regular GT...

I like the use of Alcantara and such. The steering wheel itself looks like it was taken from the C8 and optimized for racing...

I would like to know what in this picture is taken from the actual GT besides the airbag cover

Oh, it’s an real 2017 Ford GT. On Bring A Trailer with 50,000 miles. Owner added the leather grips on the wheel. Looks like we found our inspiration for the S650 wheel.

GT as in Ford GT super car not Mustang GT. No Mustang GT ever had GT on the steering wheel, well maybe aside from an option in the 60’s.

And how does someone suck so hard at photography that they can't polarize the shot? Anyone with an SLR wouldn't be this bad at it.

I will keep my 07 vert steering wheel. It's simple and easy to use. 4 buttons and that's all. My Android Auto takes care of everything else.

I quit playing video games when controls became too complicated to remember so why do I need a steering wheel with all of those buttons.

You are a little off in your years. The buttons on the steering wheels didn't get complicated until the four-way button was introduced on them.

Gotta control those gauge clusters somehow

The rest are just redundant shortcuts and the conscious choice to move cruise control from stalk to spoke

I agree most of them are redundant. I have radio controls on the steering wheel of my truck and never use them and most of it is a dirt and grime collector
