Don't worry about the dash. Nothing new (The S550 had the same from 2018 with only a few early gremlins) and screens are very reliable.
Not a day goes by that I don't hear another story about the screens not coming on, freezing up, etc

You do realise how many cars Ford sell - and those screens appear in most of them globally.

Pretty much all cars have screens now in one form or another. Even the older 'analogue screens' were nothing of the sort (not since the 1980's) as they were all electronic behind the 'dials'

Please don't compare an electronic gauge to an actual video screen with a computer and operating system behind it.

'Electronic gauge' with a computer and operating system via CANBUS behind it!

They are effectively the same just with the added complication of some moving parts on the older systems! Do you not remember the problems Ford had with dry solder joints on their 'electronic gauges' instrument clusters back in 2002 that stopped the car from starting as the ECU/ PAT needed them to be there to start the car.

They are directly comparable.

That's not so crazy, in my opinion, considering that a lot of BMW's and Porsche's have a similar gap between trim levels based mostly on engine differences.

My daily driver is a '25 BMW 330i with a turbo 4 with a MSRP of $46k. The M340i is basically the same car but with a turbo inline 6 and its MSRP is $60k.

Similarly, consider the Porsche 718 cayman with a 2.0L turbo flat 4 with a base MSRP of $74k. If you just want a 2.5L turbo flat 4 (the S model) you're looking at $86k. Upgrade to the GTS 4.0 (not even the RS!) with a flat six and you're looking at $101K MSRP!
It's crazy how we sometimes use the comparison with Porsches when we need to make a point, but at the same time we get rejected when somebody else compares Porsches with Mustangs to make a different point.

I think there are some similarities in model line ups

GT = 911

Dark Horse/Mach 1 = 911 S (lots of performance upgrades over base 911/GT)

GT350 = GT3 (high revving NA motor focus on handling)
GT350R = GT3 RS

GT500 = GT2 (forced induction performance)
GT500 CFTP = GT2 RS

GTD = 918

The only missing spot is the 911 Turbo ....

There is missing a lot more,

Quality, more exclusive brand, prices and so on..

Maybe we just need to stop comparing the mustang to other cars, its a mustang, it is what it is and if you don't like it, get something else. I'm tired of hearing it doesn't stack up to other cars. I knew exactly what I was getting when I got mine, no surprises, no disappointments.

Id rather buy a Dark Horse then a Hellcat

Hellcats are just too....big ...I get it ....awesome drag cars but way too big for any kind of cornering fun.... it feels like your driving a lowered truck instead of a car.....

Camaros - cornering fun is there but I just dont like the visibility aspect......and personal opinion but I like the way the Mustang looks better - that being said the handling is incredible on the Camaro and from a pure performance aspect I think it is the better car

Corvette - I want to like them I really do but the C8 felt too ......smooth....like it was designed for old people - and I just....the looks of the C8 just.....with wheels/ srpings they can look really good- but just something about the C8 that is off..... cant put my finger on it .... sad because I REALLY want to like that car - if prices keep coming down a Z06 might start to get tempting .....

Everything else I like is not in the a comparable price range/ doesnt count ....

It is amazing how many people come on here wanting the Mustang to be something else! It is what it is, priced as it is. People will buy it or not based on what they want from a car and whether they can afford it. Ford will keep on making it as long as they can make a profit and cover the plant costs at Flat Rock. End of!

If you casually read through this forum you would think this car is an overpriced pice of shit that no one would want. I dont get it. I got exactly what I expected and a fair price imo. A loaded Camry is over 40g’s and for 50 you can get a premium 5.0 I have now owned both and I’ll take the stang all day. My kids fit fine in the back and I smile every time I look at It. Great on a long cruise, handles better than most cars on the road and is faster as well. I don’t care if they only sold 50 mustangs last year I’m glad I have one.

Agree totally with @RLE55 . Having had camaros, bikes, jeeps blah blah blah the 24 DH Premium is my 2nd Mustang and I love it for what it is.

Do I care if you like the S650? Nope
Do I care if you like what I've done to my S650? Nope
Do I care if Ford sold more than 10,000? Nope
Do I care if Ford jacks the price on the 25s vs my 24? Nope. Glad I bought when I did
Do I care if the screens fart and go black? Nope. Warranty baby

I bought it because I can
I drive it because I choose to

I'm not looking to nickle or dime my own enjoyment with silly questions like "Will it retain it's value over time" and "What happens if the Hellcat/Corvette/Camaro people think it looks too much like their stuff".
