If Ford sold 4500 Mustangs per month, and you multiply that by an average sales price of $50K that equals $225,000,000 in revenue in one month. Multiply that times 12 months in a year and you get $2,700,000,000 in revenue!!!!

Honestly that is incredible for a sports car, let alone a sports car in 2026, let alone a car in production for 60 years!!!! Hell yea the Mustang is worth making!!! Massive success by any measure.

Nice! An increase that high over the previous 2024 December is crazy. Especially since 2024 was the s650's debut year. It did the same thing in November as well.

No sports car is coming close. The s650 has just about been doubling Corvette sales this year.

The most important thing to Ford or any company for that matter is margin. Yeah, history, branding and all that count but without margin, there is no profit, then there is no company.

1. 80% increase is misleading, recovering from the stop sale and switching to a new model year

But it sounds better than "2nd worst sales year, ever". They did beat last years numbers by 1,300, so that's good.

Not misleading at all. It was up 80 percent from the previous December, when the previous December should have been the higher month since it was a new design. And this year, prices were raised by $5k.

You're saying the s650 sales are up year over year after it's debut year, and after they raised prices by $5k and there was a stop sale for about two months. Interesting lol

This has been a strange year for some people......money-wise. If one has it, it just depends on their priorities, if one doesn't, it's interest rates and MSRP. Lot's of people unemployed also. The Dow is setting a record as I type this.

Last year Ford blamed supplier issues for low Q4 sales

Maybe. But I'm sure Ford is satisfied by seeing higher sales after raising the price by a good amount. Then some new performance models are being announced soon so things are looking up.

Don't overlook Ford also ran $4500 rebates for the Mustang .... they were $10K off MSRP down here in the SE.

That drove the extra sales for the quarter

I am in the southeast, and the most you can get off one near me is around $3k and that's for a higher priced one.

That program ended on the 2nd.

There are no rebates currently, So sales will likely fall for this quarter.

I don't think that one rebate in one region is why it almost doubled sales in November and December

You are an argumentative little feller,

That was available Nationally.

Some area's had $5500 rebates .

I'm done here.
