You're saying up to 10k off MSRP and I'm saying that's a region thing. You could not go into 99% of dealerships and get $10k off msrp.

Don't overlook Ford also ran $4500 rebates for the Mustang .... they were $10K off MSRP down here in the SE.

That drove the extra sales for the quarter

After making what I thought was a very good deal here in the Southeast, I also got the Ford rebate. I just wanted a good deal and ended up getting a great deal IMO

Nice! An increase that high over the previous 2024 December is crazy. Especially since 2024 was the s650's debut year. It did the same thing in November as well.

Not crazy at all, its tunable now....its what I waited on to buy my 25 Grabber Blue 401a 3.55 gear a few weeks ago....no tuning and I still wouldnt have one....

I've heard people are having some pretty severe powertrain problems with this car in under 4000 miles.

Just tossing this out there, but if it only takes 4000 miles to see engine and transmission problems, I would have returned the car in under 4 weeks.

Mustang starts at $32.6k, Corvette at $72.5k. Pretty much half of C8 sales are Z06 and E-Rays. I don't think comparing these cars makes any sense, since performance, price, etc are completely different segments.

But overall great for Ford and the Mustang. But with both competitors gone I actually thought Gen 7 would be bigger. Car got quite expansive with the new Gen thought

I don't think there's any problem with comparing raw sales personally, but I do think a little bit of nuance should be considered. I'm being completely honest, I have seen a strong uptick in S650s on the road, but I can still count on one hand the number of GTs I've seen, other than mine.

So yes, Mustang sales far outpace Corvette sales, but how many of those are not 100/101As? That's what I'd like to know.

My 2025 conv/manual is my first Mustang. This is after a new Corvette every 2 years including 3 C8s. The Mustang has no where near the performance so they aren’t comparable. The Mustang feels heavy and clunky, even with the performance package. That said, I like the Mustang better. I enjoy driving it and use it every day.
I shopped the 2025 model year in October and found that my area, Florida, had the biggest discounts of $8-12k off. A dealer close to me had the red conv and I offered $12k off (no trade) and they took it. Red not my first choice but I’m liking it with the emberglo interior.

I think the comparison to the corvette comes in when you realize the Dark Horse is close to the C8 in price but the Chevy beats it in performance
