    Family Squabble

I saw an S650 in person for the first time at an auto show in January, and my immediate reaction was, "Oh, it looks better in person than in pictures." I looked inside, and while the screens weren't powered on, they still looked smaller than I expected. My overall impression was that if my '18...

Dark Horse vs Nismo Z vs Supra - Everyday Driver

It sounds like everyone is disappointed by the lack of steering feel, and these guys came to a different conclusion than SavageGeese did.

2024 Dark Horse Mustang Driving Reviews Are Here! Articles/Videos Compilation

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but Edmunds did a Dark Horse track review:

Is MotorTrend right about the new S650?

More discussion about that video here, from a previous posting: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/motortrend-2024-mustang-gt-vs-2023-challenger-scat-pack-wb-head-to-head-review.158276/

How to fix front panel gaps

My hood on my 2018 was off like that when I went to pick it up, so I said something at the dealership and they did the same thing to fix it - adjusting the rubber stoppers at the top - and was good to go.

MotorTrend S650 GT First Test Review

I can't find the video now but I saw a review video that said Porsche did this to reduce noise and fuel consumption. The long gearing, especially on the lower gears, reduce the RPMs when starting and driving at lower speeds, which keeps the noise down when driving at lower speeds. All due to...

Motortrend: 2024 Mustang GT vs 2023 Challenger Scat Pack WB Head-to-Head Review

Yeah, that was a weird review. And it's almost like the reviewer had seen other reviews of the '24 and just wanted to say something different.

Thanks, adding the vehicle comparisons helps clarify your views on the costs.

American Muscle Compares the S650 To The S550

I'm not an American Muscle shill or anything, I just had these pop up in my feed, so I'm passing them along. Here, they dyno all generations of the Coyote on the same day using the same equipment. As they point out, the torque seems off, but anyway, here it is:

    First crashed S650

Are you paying the same now as you were in 1985? If you're paying more now, wouldn't that mean your rates have gone up? I think what BlackFerret meant is that overall, insurance companies charge more to insure cars that have a history of higher claims, but they don't just raise the rates...

    Exterior side styling changes

I had a 2004 New Edge SN95 Mustang with fake side scoops and a hood scoop glued on, and those were my biggest issues with the exterior. I think the styling of the subsequent versions look even less appropriate for side scoops.

    Exterior side styling changes

As I recall, the first versions of the SN95 side scoops did that as well. That was changed with the mid-cycle update.

Grabber Blue Dark Horse Mustang S650 Best Real-Life Look Yet!

It does look nice in GB, and those are great photos. I am not sold on the "raccoon" look, but I do like the center grille area better than the GT.

Hands-on reviews: digital gauge cluster, display screens, SYNC 4 -- which media are calling impressive

Thinking about it, I wonder if it was a conscious decision to put the volume knob on the right side of the console to make it easier for a passenger to control, since the driver has their own controls on the steering wheel.

I'm pretty sure Ford has been using QNX since Sync 3: https://www.telematicswire.net/ford-sync-3-from-microsoft-to-qnx-and-the-change-is-noticeable/

Hands-on reviews: digital gauge cluster, display screens, SYNC 4 -- which media are calling impressive

Old Fogey here at 59, and I've always been a tech nerd, and orderd the 401a package on my 2018 just for the digital dash. That said, while these screens look great, I think some physical buttons make driving easier and safer when you can use muscle memory to just reach for a switch, dial or...

    First time ordering a car…..

The destination fee will be added by Ford, so there shouldn't be anything beyond that for shipping if it's going to a local dealer. When I ordered mine, I did a build and price online, then went to the dealer and compared their price to that, and it was pretty easy to tell if they had added...
