I've had both and can't see any difference other than mild appearance changes. I don't know that it matters. What's the most important is that you actually run one.
At the dealership level, on a warranty repair, Ford requires one time used parts to be charged on the repair order or they will not pay for the repair. The general consensus is the reason they do this is because these one-time use parts all come with thread sealer already on them, and they don't...
I seconded the axle-back mentioned. I put an h pipe on my car and like the sound but wanted a bit more. All of the axle-backs I saw were really expensive but I finally settled on one from NXT. It's full stainless with quad tips for which I trimmed out my bumper valance. It was $450 and the car...
So battery 101, the battery provides the energy to cause the starter to engage and turn over or crank the engine. A weak or bad battery will cause a slow crank, no crank or crank then shut off. The OP is describing a condition where the engine will crank or turn over, but not start for a...
Says my 47 years in the car business. Extended crank is turning over without starting, like a car thats out of gas. You won't get that with a weak battery, that is a won't crank condition.
In 47 years in the dealership business, I've had ONE guy work for us as a detailer that was worthy of the name. Our makready dept now consists of a contract company that washes cars for the lot and for delivery and thats it. I have customers ask about detailing or paint correction, and...
I, on the other hand, like the Continentals for normal use. I have 12K miles on them and no unusual wear. I hated the Pirelli P Zero Neros they used to use.
47 yeas in the car business and I an still amazed at what customers like and don't like.
No criticism onf anyone here, just an observation.
I put the pp spoiler on my grabber blue car and painted it to match, and have had a ton of comments on it. I just don't like black stuff on cars unless they're also black
I bought an aftermarket one for a lot less money that looks identical to the Ford one. It fits great and I reused my emblem with the tape that they included. I agree that it needs to be black back there specially on lighter colored cars.
Around town on a 10 speed, 290 range, highway, 400, running mid 70s mph. Amazing mileage for what it is. I have shown as high as 36 mpg on the display, with cruise on 62 mph.
64, 2024 base GT, this is my 8th Mustang. I've had 20+ Chevelles and El Caminos over the last 25 years, but our daily drivers have all been Fords, with one exception.
I really like it a lot, but in order for it to work, IMHO, it will need a full space gray interior, not just grey inserts. The Fox bodies with teal and white interior were some of the most eyecatching cars of the '90's. Corvettes used that combo to good effect as well.
