^^^ and it does things that FDRS will not do. The only issue I see with it that if you miss a digit on the numerical location, you can cause problems that are difficult to fix. We get about one vehicle a month towed in where this has happened.

My '24 and '26 both get wet there in rain or after a wash. I've seen the same on stock units at work. Normal condition.

I also have the Ford one and after owning it and several others over the years, I recommend it regardless of price.

I've averaged as high as 33 on the highway at 70-75 in my '24. Daily, around town, normal use is about 20-22.

I got stainless ones on ebay, $10-ish if I recall.
