Thanks Dave Ramsey. We didn't get it the first 50 times you posted it. At the rate you keep repeating yourself, Im starting to wonder if there is a cognitive issue at play here.

So let me repeat myself one more time. No one here cares, much less needs an education from you on how to save money or live their life every time the conversation of Mustang sales comes up. It's tired, its condescending, and most of all, it's REALLY off topic.
I'm not optimistic you'll ever understand economics or grow up. Nobody is interested in your criticism of other people or your arrogance. Nobody knows why Mustang sales are down other than the recalls.

Now go work on your driving skills for your second thousand miles on your garage queen.

And just for the record, Mustangs are selling, just not very many of them. But, not everyone understands that. All it takes is money and desire to own one. Simple.

I thought you didn't want to talk about mustang sales because this is a troll post by a troll account, lmao.
I never said I didn't want to talk about it. Just that it was a troll post from someone who didn't know there was a stop sale last month. I never made the claim that is was a troll account.

I have noticed that you are rabid in shutting down and dismissing any negatives associated with the S650, hahah.
Not at all. I just push back in sales threads where people blame things like the screens, or the interior, or pricing for poor sales. Ive always had the stance that its the economy and not the car. There are plenty of negatives with the S650 I won't defend, like this latest recall fiasco.

I enjoy most of your posts. Sorry you were offended by mine. It wasn't directed at you. 🍻

That's a odd attempt at an insult considering I daily drive my mustang and it has over 6k miles on it lol. You're either very confused or I must really be living in your head. 🤔

Snickers bars were 50 cents in 1985. I know from experience.

My theory is that once a person learns the value of a dollar - say around the age of ten - his perception of cost and value is locked in for like. For ever after he will say "shit's so expensive these days".

When I was that age in the late 80's, a candy bar and a can of soda was a dollar. A house in CA was $150k. A new GT Mustang was $12.5k.

It was crazy to see a $20K mustang at one time, and crazy to see a $60K one today.

You guys remember teh 49/57/79 cent menu at Taco Bell? Hell yeah - you could feast on money found in your parent's couch.
In the early 70s when I was in elementary school (yes I'm a crotchety old Boomer) we complained when snickers went from 5 to 10 cents-100%. I used to buy candy bars for a dime at the neighborhood store, take em' to school, keep em' in a lock box in my desk & sell them to satisfied classmates for 15 cents. Then I had competition 🤨. The teach was OK with it. A business education at the school of hard knocks! 😎

I tried that with gum. Get a pack of bubble yum for 25 cents and sell a piece for 10 cents. That worked for a little while until the teachers shut me down, but the lesson was real and a concept became understood, tax also became real. The math was easy but tax was a wrinkle. Elementary school as well, 5th grade if i recall correctly. That’s also around the same time i learned some folks get exemptions (allowed to do stuff) because of who/what they do (school
Patrol - sometimes they didn’t have to do some work because they did other work).

I just broke 1K miles and he took pokes at me in several threads for not driving it enough. I'm going with "confused".

I'll never understand why this board was created for people to share their love for the car they own and share information about it, and like every other board, gets sidetracked into petty arguing about shit that doesn't matter. 🤷‍♂️

This dumbass thread should just be locked or deleted. It's useless.

Meanwhile I posted a cool discovery (to me at least) about how you drive in Manual mode learns the transmission in automatic modes. I know the transmission has adaptive learning, but I didn't know that how you drive it in Manual mode with paddles trains it for the Auto modes. That thread got buried in the transmission forum and will never see 2 pages, let alone 5.

But in general, I'm sick of negativity creeping into every damn form of communication that exists. it's %$#@! draining....

3 damn pages arguing about the price of Snickers 30 years ago....what a waste of everybody's time.

The stop sale on S650's for recalls that are waiting to be completed. I have a 24 GT Base 6 speed. They have gotten too expensive for the youngsters...
