No, I had a C8. But I have driven the 20-22 GT500, and it just does nothing for me. Point car straight, push loud pedal fast in a car gets boring quick. Yes, I know you can use the paddles, but no one really does. We are all humans and if a easier path is presented(aka, put in D and drive)...

No way, no how I'd do that. I've made the DCT mistake before and boredom sat in quick for me. Made me sell and vowel to never buy another auto sports car.

HUGE point in the manual, FUN! That's why we all buy sports cars. I don't care about lap times, I don't track my cars. I care about fun, smiles per gallon.

I like the car, the design cues( teal accents, bumpers, hood). The painted center bumper section ones look better to me. BUT the big disappointment/zero appeal to me is the lack of manual. I know the auto/DCT is faster blah, blah. But about a year ago I swore off auto sports cars due to boring...

High five to Chevrolet! Thats crazy fast for a production car. I would've never thought in million years the day would come we could walk in showroom and purchase a 8sec car.

I'm personally hoping for a 4 door S650 based car. I'd love a new daily with a 5.0/6spd combo. I know its a pipe dream, but a man can wish.

I don't understand all the 5.2SC hate, its a great engine. The 5.2SC with a manual would be a sick car. The DCT cars are just boring to me. The DCT is the reason the last GEN GT500 never appealed to me. I owned a C8, sold it after a year and replaced it with another manual car for the garage...

Not feeling the orange, too school bus yellow for me. But the Magenta and Adriatic are nice colors. Thinking really hard on ordering a new Adriatic PPGT.
