Hi, imusing the ms/hs switch obd2 reader but it's not showing me any of the ipc options on for scan also I tried to turn on the dark horse lighting on my premium s650 but the numbers are all different compared to what im seeing on spreadsheet and on videos. please help.
Hey, this is the one I’m using. However, it is not the recommended cable as some have issues with it to my understanding. Some other people in here should be able to tell you other options hopefully.

Mine is similar to that s well.
On mine the switch, in the manual, was incorrect. It was showing it the opposite of what is was. Trying using it in backwards, of what is says, and see if the modules show. Also, make sure you have inserted it fully into the ODBII port.

It ended up being a bad cable. I just ended up buying a new one and that solved the issues

I swapped the steering wheel on my EB Premium w/o ACC with the dark horse wheel for the paddle shifters, and in the process of swapping the button modules, the connector from the old module on the old wheel literally came right off the PCB with practically zero force. I mean, I hardly pulled on it at all....I've made dozens of my own PCB's for electronics projects, so I'm not a noob just ripping away.

So in an effort to not have to take the thing apart and resolder the connector, I installed the wheel with the button module that came with the wheel which includes the ACC buttons which my car does not have. However, none of the buttons on that module work at all after installing. Can't even change drive modes. The buttons light up, but just don't do anything when pressed.

Is there a FORscan code for whichever module handles these buttons to recognize the change in buttons?
How did you get the paddles to work? I just swapped wheels also to have paddles but I cant seem to get them to work. All the buttons work but I still can't shift.

Is there actually any benefit to be had with the one piece screen? Other than it's one piece? It seems to be identical otherwise.

Hey, New member here. Thanks to all for such good and detailed information!

I read through all the postings here including reviewing the spreadsheet and I am looking for additional information on changing the speedometer display on my 2024 Mustang GT. I seem to have conflicting/incomplete information. It seems there is a code setting to change the top end display from 160 MPH (the GT setting) to 180 MPH (the DH setting). One reference said to change the BCM module, register 720-11-01 yet it seems this register is actually in the IPC module. I changed the value of the 720 register xxx*-xxxx-xxXX. Star value from 5 to 6 but it did not seem to have any effect.

Has anyone successfully made the change and if so, specifically did you change.

I have successfully added the constant gear indicaion as well as the WAL feature.

Programming with forscan would be required to make functional... there is thread about here somewhere.

I was wondering if the graphics quality was better or something?

The internal screens are the same. It is just the surround that is different.
