I removed the active shutter from my F150 to add the Tremor skid plate. On the trucks, this is the code it reports, but it is a soft code. There is no way to make it go away as far as I know. On these cars, it may be coded differently so that it reports as a hard fault. There may be a way to change that in the BCM. I'd have to dig through to see if I find anything.

Thanks, I appreciate any help.
Yeah on my 2018 f150 I removed the shutters as well, and had no issues.
I’ve talked to some other police upfitters, and they have either just left the CEL on or made a bracket with a couple screws for the motor to find the stops and keep the light from coming on.
Personally the light doesn’t bother me, but when other people get in, it seems to be the first thing they notice LOL

I found this in the PCM:

Maybe try changing that value to a 1 to see if that makes the code go away?

Everything matches with what I was going tro try (thanks!), so I'm more confident.
I assume the change to interface modules worked correctly in the car config? You can enable/disable it via the dashboard now?
If you do give it a go, please let us know how it goes 🙏

Ok, will give it a shot this weekend.
doesn’t some of the ecoboost cars come without the active shutters? If so, I wonder if those values would work.

In a couple of days... however, reading above it should work, so I do not expect surprises.
Another crazy thing I wanted to test, is to change the wheels diameter with the purpose of tricking the speed limiter (yes the speedometer will gives back the wrong speed) to obtain a higher *real* top speed (I wouldn't make a such mod permanent, it would cause unpredicted issue, to not count the fact that I will end with a unreliable displayed speed... but i'm too curious).

Won't hurt to try. You can always just revert back if needed.

Btw I said "diameter", I really meant "circumference".

On that point, can you tell me what's your "number" about the wheels circumference?
Mine is set to:

726-15-01 C104 0163 0874
726-15-02 8249 4453

0882 HEX = 2.178mm

(275/40/19 wheels are near that: 2.207mm)

So we have the same tire circumference. I'm gonna decrease it by 15% to see if it's accepted by the ECU (you have the reset the PCM and TCM modules to have them re-learn the new data). A little pain as your have to verify with the GPS speed if anything have changed... all this trying to hit 290km/h on stock. If the experiment will work, I'll consider myself satisfied and I'll revert it back. 🤣

Autolock is standard for US Mustangs as far as I know, maybe all US cars have it.
From manual page 79:

Here are values I changed for my EU Mustang:

APIM
7DO-09-01: "xx9x" "xxxx" "xx--"
BCM
726-19-02: "x1x1" "x1x1" "x1--"
BCM
726-27-01: "xxxx" "xxx1" "xx--"
IPC
720-01-01: "xxx9" "xxxx" "xx--"
Autolock Control Function (ACF)
@Fruitstang I just saw that there is a typo in your message. Just for ease of searching for others, could you edit the O to 0. Thanks!

I can confirm the updated version of FORScan allows the changing of welcome lighting for the front headlights (I still need to find the values for the tails)

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 **** **** **** *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-05 **** **** **** *X**

Changing the value to 2 enables the Darkhorse headlight welcome effect on unlock. 3 enables the Premium sequence

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-06 *X**

Changing the value to 9 does a standard time out
2 and 3 appears to make the tri light stay on for longer duration.

Edit: Just realized I flip flopped the * and the X format...
Should the number 5 that I made bold on your quote be a 6?
I was looking for the same thing and I got confused with the bold 5.
To me it only make sense if it is a 6.
