Mustangs that have Adaptive Cruise Control ACC have this camera, I don't know about base trims, probably not. But it should be behind your rear view mirror.
We might have the front camera. At least I know I have something behind my mirror on my 301A I’ll include a photo. It might be a sensor so please correct me if I’m wrong.

That would be good news if it has it. From far it looks like the window at least has a specific shape around where the camera should be behind. This is to help the camera recognize the signs better in difficult weather conditions. You have to look closer behind the windshield to see if it is there.

From another photo I have I’m almost 100% positive there’s a camera there. I’m pretty sure I’ve even seen it in person. I just don’t have my car currently to check so I’m stuck with photos for a day or so. But for now I’m saying yes there’s a camera there.

If so, we can try and make it work step by step.
Just make sure to have all your as-built data saved before doing any changes.

Assuming all of us with the 301 group non premium have the camera and hardware needed and I can confirm I can see the same on my windshield than sky5oh sees, what are the ForScan codes we must changed? Because I already tried adding everything I saw related to Traffic Signs and even when I could see it on the menu, I couldn't even enter to it and obviously didn't work.

Do you still have all the changes you made saved on your car? If so, send me the lines you changed so I can see what you did.

No, because it didn't work, I put everything back as it was before.

@Fruitstang

Is your Mustang originally from the European market or North American market?

Today I changed Traffic Sign Recognition to the European model so that it will recognize European speed signs.

Everything worked well, my car now can read European traffic signs. But when there are no signs to read on the road, it shows the American white rectangle speed sign instead of the European one. This is just a cosmetic thing and does not do anything bad.

Then I noticed on 1 of your pictures you posted, the same American speed sign shows on your screen as well. That means it could be 1 of the 2 things.

1. Showing the American speed sign is normal on all Mustangs, so there is no way to change that speed sign to the European one.
2. Your Mustang is from the American market as well and you also have to find the adress in Forscan to change that.

See pictures below, 1 when the TSR reads the sign and 1 when there are no signs to read.

My car is a German model (don't know if this is even more special than EU).
If you refer to the pic in a seat belt splash screen removal thread, that picture was taken from a google search because I already turned off the splash screen and didn't take a before picture.
Happened to be one of a US car ;)

My car just shows an empty speed limit sign in case there was no sign detected (when I start the car in a parking garage for example).

Ah that's why. Well, that means I still need to find the IPC line where I can change that empty speed limit sign to the European one. I have everything working European now, except for that empty sign which is still American.

Is there anyone from Europe who can share his AS-built data with me?
I need at least IPC, APIM and IPMA to compare some changes.
Change the .abt files to .txt to make it possible to upload in this forum.
Thanks!

Here you can see my camera
I just took this picture and I don't know, this may be a camera, I'm trying to compare it with this picture of yours but they look different, just don't know if it's just the photo's perspective and focus.

Anyways, I will try to check again all the code I changed a couple of weeks ago via ForScan to see what it does now, but I'm pretty sure I turned on everything I saw related to Traffic sign I don't think there's something about speed limits.
