1000 Mile Oil Change

Break in oil change completed. The underside cover screws and push pins all came out in one piece.The factory oil filter is 3/4 inch shorter than Motocraft FL500S. I used 10 quarts of the Full Synthetic 5W30 Motocraft oil. The 1st photo of the dipstick is with 10 quarts of new oil cold. The 2nd photo of the dipstick was cold before I drained the old oil.

Wrong part number filter, 500s will work, but the FL-2127 is the correct factory filter.

That is why the size difference.

@Ryunker use the FL-500-S for Coyote 5.0 been the filter used since gen1. All factory fill use a different filter and is smaller. No big deal. Use the proper filter in the manual.

I was worried for a minute. Thanks for confirming the oil filter I used was the correct part number. I bought it at the dealership after the parts guy looked it up.
