So after saying I haven't changed my oil in 10 years and prefer to pay someone, I may end up making a liar out of myself. I got my car up on the new lift for the first time this weekend to get prepped for the next track day, and figured I might as well do it myself while I had it up. So...after 10 years of not changing oil in a car, I just ordered the oil and filter to do it myself. LOL

So I finally did my first oil change not at the dealer on my S650 while I had it on the lift to install the roll cage and change the brake fluid. I’m not sure if I’ll change it every time from now on, but if the car is already on the lift, it seems it is more convenient than taking it to the dealer. As a side note? It took nearly 10 1/2 quarts to get it to the top of the dip stick line. Since I’m tracking the car I away make sure it is all the way to the top, and I previously have had to add 1/2 to 1 full quart of oil after the dealer changed it because it was just somewhere between high and low.
