He's literally trying to engage in the conversation and making valid points. Why cant you just answer basic questions and respond to the conversation instead of coming back with snarky remarks and insults? If you disagree then make your damn point. We're six pages in, and you seem more interested in deflecting the topic YOU started.
Got it , thanks 👍

Not possible in a modern car as they will not start without being in park and foot on the brake (auto) or clutch in (manual) for that very reason
Thank you. I've started a couple of cars in my 77 years. I was actually trying to be funny and make fun of my old age, but it apparently didn't work.

But although, do you ever remember standing on the pedal just to get it to crawl, frozen drums (not stuck but cold), them’s was the days.

Gotta be a Carvel's ice cream cake, only the best. My parents have been buying them for our birthdays since we were kids.

After your car sits for an extended period of time ,
How many of you hold the gas peddle to the floor during startup to allow oil pressure to build before starting ?

It says you should anytime it sits awhile. I did it the other day for the first time.

Curious if everyone else says , ya duh ! or , what huh ?

Did not see this covered in a thread , but I could be mistaken.
If mine sits for a few weeks, I just start it and then floor it, let it sit on the chip till warmed up. Neighbors love me. :cwl:
