With AC off on a non PP GT on the highway around 70F ambient, has your oil always held around 230F?My oil temps did not change after the update Monday.
For me, yes. With AC off on a non PP GT on the highway around 70F ambient, has your oil always held around 230F?
I live in Georgia. I purchased my car in June. I have never had the AC off. With AC off on a non PP GT on the highway around 70F ambient, has your oil always held around 230F?
Thank you for the explanation. I assume your results will be skewed compared to mine due to the extra cooling yours has.I live in Georgia. I purchased my car in June. I have never had the AC off.
Also, I have a Dark Horse with the handling package.
So I do not know how useful my information would be to you, but cruising along on the highway my temps are usually in the 180s if I am just driving easily. On the interstate, where I set the cruise control on 83 mph, the oil temp tends to stay around 188-190-192.
Now if I give it full throttle for a while, those temperatures will increase. They soon cool off again, though.
They also increase if I put the car in a mode other than Normal. For example, I put the car in Track Mode, and I saw 207° for a little bit the other day. I think it is from the increased rpms when driving around.
