With AC off on a non PP GT on the highway around 70F ambient, has your oil always held around 230F?
I live in Georgia. I purchased my car in June. I have never had the AC off.

Also, I have a Dark Horse with the handling package.

So I do not know how useful my information would be to you, but cruising along on the highway my temps are usually in the 180s if I am just driving easily. On the interstate, where I set the cruise control on 83 mph, the oil temp tends to stay around 188-190-192.

Now if I give it full throttle for a while, those temperatures will increase. They soon cool off again, though.

They also increase if I put the car in a mode other than Normal. For example, I put the car in Track Mode, and I saw 207° for a little bit the other day. I think it is from the increased rpms when driving around.

Thank you for the explanation. I assume your results will be skewed compared to mine due to the extra cooling yours has.
