I saw some of the cars on Tuesday before they were in the display cases. All of them were there and in the cases yesterday afternoon except for a race car. I work in DC and take a commuter train there, so I pass through Union Station every day.
I discovered something else about the A10 when in Sport mode by accident. When braking aggressively, it downshifts 2-3 times, maybe more depending on how long you're braking. It actually sounds like a race car braking before a turn, which is where this would be very useful.
Tires are a lot better than those made in the 90s, especially the summer high-performance tires. Of course, having 335 wide tires makes a difference too. :)
That's what I did when my picked out her Mustang. She picked out the exterior color, interior color, wheels, and options. I went through the list of options with her in case she didn't know what they were. Needless to say, she is still very happy with her car. :)
Same, we get a letter every week or 2 about needing a car warranty or some bull like that. Got one today, opened it up to look at it, saw what it was, then threw it away.
My wife had the top down on her Mustang the entire week, as it's parked in the garage overnight and we didn't get any rain during the day. We did put it up when we went to the dinner theater to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary (June 8), but then dropped the top again on the way home since...
We have ours programmed to quiet start between 10 pm and 8 am and usually run the AE in Normal mode. If I'm in the car by myself or with one of the kids, I'll switch it to Sport mode, both for the exhaust sound and better trans shifting schedule.
Ours won't go all the way up unless the windows are down. I just tried it with the windows up, and when I pushed the rocker to put the top up, it rolled the windows down first.
I would think you would want your rear camber and toe to be almost zero for the best contact patch. All of the parts you're installing should stiffen up the suspension and minimize deflection.
I noticed the same thing comparing my wife's Mustang with my GTO. They're probably equal in power as I've done some work on my GTO (full exhaust, LS3 heads/intake, tuned), but the GTO feels much more lively under 3k rpm due to it's huge torque advantage.
Went out to eat with my family today (sisters, their husbands and kids, and our aunt), and we saw an Adriatic Blue convertible in the parking lot. This is the 1st AB we've seen in the wild. We went over to look at it and the driver was still in it. We talked with him a few minutes, he saw...
We've had 1 or 2 kids in back several times this year. One is a 5'6" girl, the other is a 5'7" boy growing an inch a month at the moment. If someone is behind me, either as the driver or passenger, I can't move my seat back as far as I usually do, but there's still enough room for my 6'1"...
Makes sense to me in a way. Here in Maryland, 2-lane highways are typically 55, but we're good up to 9-12 mph over. 4-lane and Interstates are usually 65 mph unless going through a congested area, same allowance over. I-95 is usually faster, especially with people passing through from other...
