Yes everything has been great I did get around to doing the cup holder, I am going to make a video, enough people have asked me, just been busy, but no issuesHey man how are things lately. I hope you are still happy with your ambient light. Have you tried to put wires in the cup holders like they used to be for the S550? I have read somehwere before that it is not easy as there are no connections to that part.
Can you share some more nice pictures or footage if possible? I will take it as best practice. Thanks buddy. @INSANEMUSTANG9

Hey I was the creator of the video posted here. I actually do sell them as kits if you arent comfortable doing everything yourself. Send me a pm if you have any questions . https://www.etsy.com/shop/LastLapApparelWow, this is awesome! I am awful with this kind of stuff, and don’t have the patience for it, but I am going to find someone to help me or just pay someone to do. Thank you
That’s looks really nice it’s a shame they didn’t just do it the mustang but do it for Lincon and other ford carsFord added ambient lighting to the 2025 Explorer and did it similar to this. they have a thick fiber optic cable with an LED at the end and they have marks in the fiber optic cable to disrupt and broadcast the light

Do you know if there’s an updated pinout for this? I’m looking at the connectors and I don’t see any that have that color combo in the pin locations. I might be overlooking it, but which jumper would it be under?some useful info for anyone trying this, here's a guide on how to find the right wires. ambient lighting has 4 wires, red power, green power, blue power, and ground. vehicles have 2 used ambient lighting zones, 1 and 3. zone 2 is unused and has no wiring at all. there is a long 26-pin connector coming out of the BCM which is located on the right side of the passenger footwell. below is a diagram of the connector

pins 3 and 16 are not ambient lighting, so ignore them.
ground is always brown
Pin Number Wire usage Wire color Wire gauge 9 Zone 3 Red White and orange 22 10 Zone 3 Green White and green 22 11 Zone 1 Red Orange 22 12 Zone 1 Green Green 22 13 Zone 1 Blue Blue 22 23 Zone 3 Blue White and blue 22
I just used the pass floor LED four wires, and then each door just use the four wires off door handle LED for the door leds, its such low voltage,Do you know if there’s an updated pinout for this? I don’t have ambient lighting optioned on my Mustang unfortunately. I’m trying to figure out the pinout of the BCM connectors so I can either add the pins to the connectors (if I don’t have the wires there already) or tap into the wires already there.I just used the pass floor LED four wires, and then each door just use the four wires off door handle LED for the door leds, its such low voltage,
