Crossover is how much on one side of the frequency you want to hear. One side is just bass thump, while the other end of the spectrum is bass mixed with much more of the higher end (vocals, instruments, etc.)

(BTW, I just bought the last of the 2 Pioneer 10” subs amazon has ATM. And the adapter cables. Thanks all for doing all the research! I really wanted the 10” JBL subs, but would rather buy something I know fits with little modification.)
