Aftermarket is supply and demand. Everything is possible in aftermarket.Aftermarket
This car is sold 2 to 3 times less in the first 2 years than the S550. There are not that much S650 owners compared to S550 owners.Fair enough. Hoping the aftermarket picks up, in that case.
This is probably the first time in my life I’ve seen a mustang generation without an immediately huge aftermarket scene, but I get why. Shame

I think @sky5oh has these or ordered these.https://www.stanglights.com/product...iiYsaUpugNPM6H0CCd2NSKzvnnnqOcnRoCt-QQAvD_BwE
Found these, $899.10 with their discount code.
$899 or possibly bricking components on your car if you're not careful, haha
I'm torn, I really want amber drl's but don't trust myself enough to do it with the fdrs and forscan. $900 can be spent on something I can actually see or feel when I'm driving, haha.I think @sky5oh has these or ordered these.
900 just for amber is not worth it lol.I'm torn, I really want amber drl's but don't trust myself enough to do it with the fdrs and forscan. $900 can be spent on something I can actually see or feel when I'm driving, haha.
It just looks so cool, and to be the only one in my neck of the woods, tough decision to make![]()
Exactly! I can let myself believe just about anything, haha900 just for amber is not worth it lol.
But if you really want them, you can justify it by letting yourself believe that with 900 bucks you have an extra set of headlights in case anything breaks in case of a crash, electrical error or anything else, you will still have the original headlights ready to be installed.
If there’s any caveat… the instructions listed here are very well laid out so just as long as you follow the instructions and be patient you should be ok. I have a job 1 2024 so I’ll have to do the HCM flash as well. This is my first rodeo with FDRS but not with ForScan so, for me, I’m going to make sure I have a trickle charger on the battery. I work in IT so maybe my “full send/no guts no glory” level is a little different lol.I'm torn, I really want amber drl's but don't trust myself enough to do it with the fdrs and forscan. $900 can be spent on something I can actually see or feel when I'm driving, haha.

FYI - a trickle charger does not supply enough power to keep your battery charged. If you were to trickle charge overnight and start with a 100% battery you would possibly be ok but Ford recommends a power supply when connected to FDRS. If the process goes quickly there won’t be an issue but if you run into any snags or delays, voltage drops fairly quickly and then you can run into major issues. If there’s any caveat… the instructions listed here are very well laid out so just as long as you follow the instructions and be patient you should be ok. My mongoose should be here today so I plan on doing it either this afternoon or tomorrow. If you want I can post my experience…

And I just bought the NOCOthanks for that info!
correction: I will be doing this tomorrow after the Clore PL2320 I just ordered gets here. lol
I wish I saw the Clore before I bought my NOCO tender a couple of years ago. I like that MUCH more for when my car is in winter storage
Definitely worth getting the RGB headlights, plus you can change them to whatever you want. You can get them cheaper on Alibaba but idk if the import fees tack on or not. You can also buy from SimpBuilt it appears they actually make theirs but it could just be a implementation of the china version but upgraded. They have a RGB startup animation that is absolutely beautiful and *apparently* work with the welcome lights.I'm torn, I really want amber drl's but don't trust myself enough to do it with the fdrs and forscan. $900 can be spent on something I can actually see or feel when I'm driving, haha.
