We have a Dark Horse in the showroom, I will grab that VIN and check it against my VIN to see if/what differences there might be.

if it’s a wiring issue, we can work around that. Hell, if it’s as simple as adding a wire or two I can make some harnesses up to test. I build police cars at a ford dealership for a living…wiring is easy LOL.
I’m not quite ready to give up on this yet…..I think it should be fairly simple.
Next week will be busy for me, but maybe next weekend I can do a CAN scrape and find out where and what codes change when the turn signal begins its sequence. That may shed some light on where to look. I do CAN scrapes all the time gathering data for automated emergency lighting functions.

100% that the headlights are different. There are tons of different headlights if you search for the part numbers, but we don't really know why. Even on the GT's and Dark Horses.
the headlights Ford lists as for the GTD seem to also be the ones they list as for 401A GT Coupes

I think SofaKing is right. The guy might have another GTD VIN number. We need to find another VIN.
yeah, we definitely do. this VIN looks like a US one based on the window sticker. it references the EPA and their fuel economy website. i found a video of a GTD at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that has its low beams on and off, and it always has its top lights amber. . the only GTDs i can find that seem to have white DRLs is the ones that Ford themselves are using

Than the settings we wrote are the ones. We only have to know ehat to enable and ehat to disable. Lol.

I'm going to lose hope, order these

https://www.autoledtech.com/products/2024-ford-mustang-rgbw-flow-series-led-drl-boards

2 days after I've either completed the install or melted my headlights in the oven, you guys are going to solve it 😂
Heads up if you install boards you gotta run the power to the tail lights otherwise they get hyper flash. As of right now HCMotionz is the only manufacturer that has plug & play prefab headlights. NCStangs sells them. Takes a while to get them however.

i am 90% sure i was so close to making some sort of discovery. i managed to find an actually produced GTD VIN, and was gonna check the as-built data. unfortunately, it looks like Ford's servers are down for maintenance and will be back up in about 10 hours

And you wanted to share this with us just to give us this intense feeling the coming 10 hours? Man.. you can really play with others feelings.

Also, I thought a bit more about the GTD I changed the lights with. Strangely enough it didn't do much change, but after shutting the car down, this purple led kept on shining for like 30 seconds before going off.

That's the only change that it gave me before I restored everything back to factory settings. And I might change it back to the GTD version again, because I REALLY loved that walk away light.

Unfortunately it is very hard to make a video of it since it's very bright and you can't see a real difference with a phone camera.

2B = Generic Ford Logo
2C = Simplified Ford Logo that pulsates. looks to be designed for one of the 12" screens of an F-150 or Bronco

2D = GTD w/ B&O Logo
2E = GTD w/o B&O Logo
2F = Generic Ford Logo
30 = Generic Ford Logo
31 = Generic Ford Logo
its likely that nothing else is assigned and they will fallback to the generic Ford logo one

somehow, none of these equal a Lincoln in F.E. So weird.

Thanks for testing it out. At least we found another GTD startup, without the B&O.. maybe with less child diseases than the 2D. I don't even know if child disease translates the same as what I mean but lol..

Since we found out that the 2D value is for the center screen, we might have to do the same for the 3E value to maybe find out if we can get the cluster screen working.

7D0-03-02**xxxxxxxxxx

23 = All regular S650 Mustangs
3E = GTD
3A =
3B =
3C=
3D=
3F=

I'm just thinking easy and check what the neighbor values have to offer, since it works mostly like this.
