i did some experimenting today and found out 2 things
1. the "Classic" gauge cluster works with the 220mph speedometer

2. the 220mph speedometer is still broken and behaves like the 140mph (test done by controlling a parameter in the IPC) and does not work with the speedometer set to kmh

Ok..I was one of the folks where we thought it might not work. Tried it this morning..and low and behold..it works!... I have a 2024 Ecoboost convertible. It works with both the top up and down. Later I want to play with the

1 = AUDIBLELOCKFEEDBACK_PERS_1 ENABLE

And see if it will beep the horn or something...right now it is kind of silent...it flashes the marker lights and you can hear the lock mechanism if it is quiet but a horn beep would be nice. Does anyone know if turning this on should enable any setting options on the screen. I did not find anything new.

Yes, you can enable the Audible Walk Away Lock Feedback (AWALF). You'll get a single horn chirp when the WAL locks the vehicle.

Does anyone know if turning this on should enable any setting options on the screen. I did not find anything new.

There is a change in the APIM (not the one you quoted) that will add WAL to the Sync screen under Vehicle /Lock / Walk Away Lock. BUT ... it is not operational.

If you enable it, you can disable WAL using the Sync screen:

But if you attempt to (re) enable it on the screen, it throws an error:

At this point, the only way to re-enable it is to use FORScan. That's why we didn't include this on the spreadsheet.

There are two BCM changes that enable AWALF and one APIM change that (supposedly) adds it to the touchscreen. I have successfully tested the AWALF itself, but I don't recall checking Sync screen after the APIM update to see if there was a new slider there for AWALF.

Ok...so setting these

enabled the auto walk away lock...silent

then adding

726-91-01 XXXX XXX1 XX

and

726-97-01 x1x1 x1x1 x1

will enable the horn beep when the lock occurs if you want it. But it seems you need both however i did not try just doing the audible ones by themselves. This is awsome as this one one very obvious missing feature in a very modern and expensive car. Thanks all for uncovering this.

It will come via an OTA. I'm really surprised Ford hasn't started pushing it out yet. Every Mustang I've checked shows the update pending for it on the server.

FDRS is only $50 for a two day subscription. It's the Mongoose-Plus VIC that's $550.

If you updated your location (under your avatar) from "United States" to somewhere more defining, perhaps someone who already owns a Mongoose will offer to lend a hand.

What part of FL? I was just literally down there last week/weekend. Offered to bring my hardware down for another member, but he never responded.

Also, @rugedraw does have several that he will mail out and you mail it back. But he needs a deposit to cover the cost of the VIC in case you don't return it. The only thing he charges is the cost to ship it back and forth. He has a list going somewhere, I think on another forum. Not sure how long it is ATM.
