Hack attack needs to get better than that. Hex edit away, update and create options. Needs to be well [] proof …. But otherwise nice find.

I swapped my base DH seats for recaros and am attempting to remove the seat heater "button" from the screen. Forscan is having trouble connecting. Can anyone help me get this connected?

I'm not an expert but I used the PCM/Strategy code for the F-250 that FORScan provides as an example. Didn't change anything...just wanted to see if it would connect and recognize all the modules, which it did.

This vehicle is not yet officially supported by FORScan. It takes time with new models. I would be wary of finding any workaround, even if you (attempt to) back up your As-Built values.

I am torn, the dealer I asked said they can't change the button layout either. I know ford performance sells aftermarket seats. I wonder what they would do if they were bought and installed. I can just live with it for now but do not want someone to hit the button and throw a fault or worse.

I'm sure they will eventually support it officially and adding/removing things like that won't be long after that.

Honestly, I doubt pressing the "button" will do a thing and probably won't throw an error. Try it yourself.

Does anyone know if/how this spread sheet is being updated for the mustangs....I am specifically looking at the ACM values (727) and the -01-01 fields dont seem to line up with as built data i am looking at. I pulled as built for several cars of different trim (ECO and GT) but cant seem to make sense out of it based on what the spread sheet shows.
