I did not read the manual, I found it via trail and error. It is a nice function thar has saved me from a few tickets. It is very possible I have it set to "intelligent speed limiter" toggle on and off. In the mystery steering wheel button thread it references page 229 and a photo of that button.
The button on the bottom left of the wheel is not a cruse button. It limits the top speed to a set value similar to cruse but does not maintain speed. Or that is how it behaves in my DH 6MT
I am torn, the dealer I asked said they can't change the button layout either. I know ford performance sells aftermarket seats. I wonder what they would do if they were bought and installed. I can just live with it for now but do not want someone to hit the button and throw a fault or worse.
I swapped my base DH seats for recaros and am attempting to remove the seat heater "button" from the screen. Forscan is having trouble connecting. Can anyone help me get this connected?
I am having the same issue in my DH. Also had to take it it for the shift linkage NVH. Replacing the linkage, hopefully they can get the creaking sorted as well. I do not believe they have even diagnosed that yet.
Not sure what you mean here, I am the OP and am only talking about my specific issue. Hopefully no one else is having other issues. All of the other sounds the car makes are music to my ears, this was almost as bad as a rock stuck in the side skirt from an annoyance standpoint. I have an...
Hello everyone, I have figured out the problem thanks to the 6th gen forum. This is the same issue on the mach 1 and gt350 with the tremec. It is the reverse lockout vibrating against the stop on the shift linkage.
Is it possible it is called something else? Both the parts clerk and service manager acknowledged something along those lines today at the dealership. Parts clerk specifically said TSB using the last 8 of my Vin to search.
Can anyone pull the TSB for dark horse 6mt second gear and post please? Car is going in Monday and I want to be aware if possible of the TSB that my local parts clerk was able to inform me of. From what she told me Ford is blaming the root cause on $$shifting into second at a high rate of speed...
It looks to be driven off the counter shaft. Does it make sense for it to be louder in any given gear with its location? And agree HP/ non HP is of no consequence here just did not want to mis-represent my vehicle.
Well I am glad I am not alone! Not sure how it would be the trans cooler unless there is a gear driven pump? I have not looked at a schematic so I honestly don't know. Previous vehicles were a built '18 STI and a '18 M3 competition both 6MT and never made that sound in any gear.
Second gear has a noticeable whine or growl under load that does not exist in any other gear. Wondering if anyone else has had issues and what the fix was. Non HP manual 1200 miles. Sound has been there the whole time has not gotten better or worse.
I had a similar issue the other day driving home from work. I absolutely hate rattles and unwanted noise. My car, a base vapor blue DH, was perfect for the first 500 miles. So good that I mentioned it to my wife. Later that day after work I thought I willed it into existence as the car suddenly...
