What are the differences in these rods vs the ones in the GT. Found text that say "forged", my thinking is all rods are forged. Looking to be educated on this any photos would help also.

Not all rods are forged. Many are cast. I don't know exactly what process is used for the Coyote in the GT, but I believe they are cast as well. The casting process is cheaper, but the result is a rod that will fail under power adders like nitrous, superchargers and turbochargers if enough boost is added. For most of us cast is just fine. As one with a GT on order I'm not worried about it. I will be keeping mine stock anyway.

Hopefully, we'll see an updated document for the Gen 4.

According to that attachment from Skye the Coyote already has forged rods? So, why then, make a big deal of the forged rods from the 350 in marketing? I'm looking forward to this conversation.

I just finished reading Jim Smart's updated Coyote Engine book, and I would highly recommend it as required reading if you're planning on exceeding 600 horsepower in a stock Coyote and you want it live a reasonable life expectancy: https://www.amazon.com/Ford-Coyote-Engines-REV. There's a bit more involved than just swapping out rods and pistons, although that is certainly a good start.

Maybe they are 'even more forged'

From a GT500 article a while back

Bigger connecting rods get thrown in as well, which are made from a “micro alloy steel” as is the crankshaft.
So maybe thicker and a different material?

The mustang gt rods are the same ones from the gen 2/3 which are the sinster forged rods from the boss 302. They’re very reliable and will handle 800-900whp pretty reliably. The dark horse gets the updated heavy duty forged rods from the Gt500 which are upgraded rods from the gt350

so here to make it easy
Sinster rods < gt350 rods < gt500 rods/ gen 2 gt350 got them as well, same with DH

Not to be a spelling prude, they're "sintered" steel and have "cracked" caps. They fit together perfectly and are remarkably strong. The forgings are perfect for high RPM applications involving endurance. The Dark Horse is billed as a track focused Mustang, so Ford put in the good stuff for longevity.

As @Gogoggansgo stated, everything I've heard is that they are from the GT500.
