Not an issue for me as my color won’t be on the list in ‘25. DMG being a 2 year color is very attractive for exclusivity to me. Value ? Priceless

Pricing the last several years has gone up double or more the rate of inflation. COVID, the invasion of Ukraine and now actions throughout the Middle East have disrupted, re-routed and in some instances ended raw materials, energy, partial and finished good supply chains the world over. Additionally, vehicle manufacturers of all kinds have gravitated to larger, more expensive packages, because the margins are higher.

Edit,

And, just reviewing my six-month car and truck premium...:curse:. :explode:. :lipssealed:.

Are really going to go there? I think Ford is more than capable of raising prices without government intervention.
"We" don't need to go anywhere. "THEY" already went there for us. Facts must be inconvenient.

With destination it is +$3870 for the same car. Dang that's rough
Yea; when I walked into my dealer's showroom this spring I intended to order a '24, but when they told me it would be a 6 to 8 month delivery period I noted the '25s would be out before then (even at the 6 month mark). I asked if the '24 order price quote would still be good, and they said no. So bought mine off their lot.

Based on the '25 price increase you cite; I guess it's a good thing I did, as if my "order" had inflated like that I would have told them to keep it. Not to mention Rapid Red was my first color choice (order or lot purchase) and it looks like it's "outta there" for '25. 😞

Ford Canada does not let me build a 2025 MY yet, so I cannot compare :-)

Funny thing here, I was at the lot late June thinking "man, the '25s will be out soon, maybe I should wait". Decided the one they had checked all the boxes. Glad they did.

Mine goes up by $4200 and I can't select the Grabber Blue Brembos on the '25 without adding the performance pack. On my '24, had the option for Blue, Red, or Black Brembos, but doesn't appear to be the case on the '25.

However, pricing my '24 out today with my x-plan pricing, its still $1700 more than what I paid a year ago. So maybe truly only a $2500 delta between '24 & '25 as priced today.

Yeah, but that it also hurt anyone looking to buy a 24' off the lot. There really are no winners here.
Dealers are still offering discounts on new '24s and there's a reasonable inventory of GTs. This is just your 90-day warning to make some moves happen if you don't want to eat the price increase.

It's a buyer's market for Mustangs at least through the end of 2024.

The Dark Horse I had on order 4/8/23 (700A, A10, AP, Blue Ember, HP, Painted stripes) was $76, 000 even, now it would be $84,045 and $ 8,045 difference.
The Dark Horse I actually purchased 3/16/24 (700A, A10, AP, Blue Ember, Painted stripes) was $73,350 Which I got $4,000 off $69,350 would now cost me $78,750 for Sticker Difference of $5,400. My purchase price the difference would be $9,400.
