Have said it many times on this forum, but the corvette is the american sports car that is pushing the boundary of an ICE engine. Insane numbers from an OEM production car, makes one wonder how much power the zora will make whenever they release that.

I’m going to guess 1500hp for the Zora, if they actually make one. Of course, it will have electric motors to help it make that power.

I've read several articles today that predict ~1,500hp.

I think it will be the same ZR1 engine, with the added Electric motor in the front.
If they want to blow it out of the water, they would probalby use the combined Electric turbos that porsche just released.

Instead of opening the wastegate, they use the electric motor in the turbo to generate electricity for the front electric motor.
Super efficient and insanely fast. You could use that energy for a max speed run and never run out of it. Unlike the traditional hybrids that the battery depletes after some time.

Who can get a GTD not the average joe I'am a Ford guy but chevy treats their customers wright. As a chevy guy if you have a good relationship with your dealer head on down sign up for a ZR1 because they are not in anyway limited. My chances at a GTD is next to none, I have to kiss someone and get on a knee pad to someone at Ford to even have a chance at getting a GTD. I like chevys way of business better on their performance Halo vehicles, low prices, deliver more than your customer expects and availablility to all.

You need to be calling nationwide and ready to wire 100K ADM deposit to secure one I bet.

Matter of fact… haven’t heard a peep about that today…100K ADM to get on the list may not even be enough.
People that OWN several dealerships may get a spot for 1.
Even with money people are delusional to think they’ll be able to own one.
Probably need social clout and apply like the GTD.

It’s 165K to 250K to buy a C7 ZR1 today that’s 5 years old.
