Last Friday, I started my car but there were a lot of error messages on screen and when I shifted into reverse, it killed the engine with a message about parking sensor failure. This happened twice, so I had it towed to my local Ford dealer, who gave me an 8am appointment Saturday however I have yet to hear back from them.
Looking at other posts on the forums it appears to be a common issue, related to the battery? It's on a 2024 Ecoboost Premium with 23,897 miles. I'm assuming repairs will be covered by the warranty? This has been stressful so far and I wish the dealer had a loaner car to give me but unfortunately they do not. If anyone has had this problem and knows how long it took to fix/ whether the warranty covered it I'd appreciate it!
I'll update this thread once I learn more.
