Looks like I finally avoided one.
Me too? LOL, not sure if that is good or bad... good; as in they built ours right, or bad; just not added to the recall yet.

You guys might find this interesting. I just opened up the app about a minute ago. The Wiper recall isn't there any more, it's disappeared. It's now saying "0 active recalls".

Mine is now 0 recalls as well. ! It's still listed on Ford website though. Probably because there is no remedy available.
Appreciate you guys posting. I was going to say the same thing . Yesterday the wiper motor recall appeared in my Ford App, today it isn't, but It still appears under my VIN on the Ford website.

I don't have the control module update campaign listed for my car thankfully, but since it's OTA it wouldn't be a big deal even if it was. In general, my inlet air temperature always matches my ambient air temp.

I just finished setting up the Ford app and saw no reference to the wiper recall there, but I ran my VIN online and got the alert. Amusingly, I had been congratulating myself for getting a very late build of a 2024, meaning that I got the better equipment package and still had 21 months of the 3/36k warranty left when I bought the car. But that timing also pushed me into the affected group for this recall. Anyway, I don't see the problem as having much effect on me, since I expect to be doing little or no Mustang driving in freezing temperatures. I have a Telluride and my wife's Jeep as year-round vehicles. Still, until March of 2027 is a long time to wait for a fix. It's a good thing the defect isn't more significant. Ford seems to have gotten slower since the last time I owned one of their cars.

I'm not worried either. It rarely gets below 35 here in the winter. My car is garaged. It's my daily. So next year I get a new windshield wiper motor.. ok. 😂

Middle of July with a heatwave all over. Now they realize this is an issue? Gotta love it!

My car only sees water when it is being washed, which is not that often so I have not done the BCM recall

And if it gets to 32 where I keep the car you can be damned sure it is not going to be out in the rain/snow/ice or sleet either.

But the good news is I will be visiting and driving the car this week from Mid day Wednesday to Friday night. Maybe the bikes will make it out of the garage too !
