I would be more concerned with water on the track depending on temp and humidity, but agree its not really a power concern. Most performance cars uncouple the a/c clutch when at full throttle. I assume the Mustang does as well.

Same....they ran 2 cars at a time on the drag strip when I was there.....crazy crap can happen at 117mph.....especially if another person is involved.

Interesting on the impact of the later tune....My 16HC runs 11.2 @ 125 consistently on true street tires -all seasons. 10.7s on my drag radials which I run on the street. Have run hot laps and no significant reductions until you heat soak it. You wouldnt be ZH, would you?

Cylinder head temp is usually based upon engine coolant temp. I can't imagine a reduction in oil temp is going to move that number. If it does, your bearings are already toast.

Yes you are right on...I've used Factory reproductions on my old daily driver for snows. Good wheels...and they look fit perfect as an OEM knockoff. I'd go the black/chrome combo with the all black car IMO
