My wife has bad knees and finds it a chore to climb in and out of my Telluride. (I have a folding stool to aid in the process, but she doesn't trust it.) She actually finds the Mustang friendlier in this respect -- just sit way down into the passenger seat and pivot.
Surprisingly, I've...
This advice cannot be overstated. Every auto forum in which I've ever participated or lurked, including this one, is full of posts like "I didn't get the factory subwoofer -- what's the best way to add one?" or "How much does it cost to put in my own leather seats?" or "Is there a wiring harness...
But Bronco : Bronco Sport : : Mustang : Mustang Mach 4, right?
As I understand it, Bronco fans were unhappy about the "Bronco Sport" nameplate, but Ford proceeded anyway. At least the Mustang sedan apparently would be built on the existing Mustang platform. The Bronco Sport is a boxy version of...
And that reason has nothing to do with maps for automobile drivers.
All this is completely consistent with the point I made: "The vast majority of roads shown in any map set do not change from year to year." But there are users who get unnerved if they can find a handful of deviations between...
"Obsolete" is a strong term. "Increasingly dated over time" would be more accurate. The vast majority of roads shown in any map set do not change from year to year. So even old compilations retain a great deal of utility. If you prefer every conceivable route to be as current as possible, then...
Although I am not in the market for a Dark Horse SC, I was surprised to discover that one is available at what is now "my" local Ford dealer. And it has all four seats!
What I would find irritating about this pricing if I were a buyer is that fact that a very high base price serves as a license...
You need a badge cover for the "5.0" that is painted to look like it is not a badge. Like the hidden bridge in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. :)
For model year 2022, Kia changed its company logo from the word "Kia" in an oval to a stylized word mark that is harder to recognize. Before that...
I was idly browsing the Ford Accessories online shop and came across a Ford Performance badge. https://www.ford.com/product/powered-by-ford-performance-badge-p2920349514. I suppose that if you have sprung for a special Ford tune (which, admittedly, I have now done) or have installed a Ford...
When I was considering Mustang colors, my wife was not wild about the name "Grabber Blue." :) I can see where the term might resonate differently today than in the 1960s. But we don't want "Pinto Blue," no. Actually, my mother used to have a blue Pinto, but it was a light shade, not bold.
As...
Update: Installed and ready! See details here: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/ford-performance-calibration-tune-now-available-for-2025-2-3l-ecoboost-engine.176354/page-3#post-3537774
Update: I had the Performance tune installed today on my 2024. The process could not have been smoother.
When the tune kit arrived at the dealer, I received an email from Ford alerting me, and directing me to make an installation appointment with the dealer. I called, and they knew who I was...
I just finished setting up the Ford app and saw no reference to the wiper recall there, but I ran my VIN online and got the alert. Amusingly, I had been congratulating myself for getting a very late build of a 2024, meaning that I got the better equipment package and still had 21 months of the...
I'm not sure what "ghetto things" means to you, but then again, I don't want to know. In any event, applying a matte plastic coating to a small, shiny area of the dash is fundamentally no different than tacking on a small piece of felt, and probably would look better.
Why would you remove part of the dash? You're just applying a matte coating to a small area that's producing glare. Tape around the edges and use a paint brush.
The Bronze Package already existed. Carmine Red as a seat color already existed. And obviously Shadow Black already existed; it's not a custom color. So this "Signature Edition" merely cobbles together some standard configuration options, adds truly unfortunate striping, and tops it off with a...
Have you guys considered Plasti Dip? It comes in matte colors. While you might be hestitant to use the spray inside the car, you can get it in liquid form too. And if you don't like the result, you just peel it off.
