Lot of great programming on AM stations. Shame that they are just dumping useful tech, old as it may be. I'm sure it will be possible to find a Bluetooth AM device that can connect to the entertainment system...

I find it kind of strange that they made it easier to get HD radio in the car now by just having the 9 speaker system and satellite radio, but dropped AM where we could‘ve made use of the sub channels.

I listen to talk radio/podcasts sometimes. I guess I can just stream it, but if in no cell range can be an issue.

Most of the AM stations in my area are on some of the secondary HD FM channels - that could be why.

I grew up on AM radio, worked for a few, moved to FM in the 80s and haven't looked back. Last I heard an am station it was shockingly bad. Is the cd player gone as well? That I would miss.

It would appear so that the CD player is gone, didn’t see it mentioned in the option guide with the B&O, plus looking at all interior shots of the car there’s no visible slot for it. I’m not even sure there’s space for them to put it in.
