S650 No Lift Shift

I don't remember any magazines discussing which is the faster method. I thought I read somewhere that a little bit of delay is built into the no lift shift to protect something in the driveline. The car might accelerate faster just doing it the old fashioned way but I'm not sure.

edit: to answer the question. If we are equating no lift shift to rev matching then yes it is available on the gt, well at least ours.
