Hello all,
I've had my '25 GT convertible for a little over a month now, and I'm making mental (and written) notes about issues - all small stuff, but I figure this is the place to get info about them.

Does anyone else have this issue: my rearview mirror won't adjust up high enough to give me a proper view. I am tall (6'2), but I have the seat set down as far as it will go, and I have about 2 inches of space between the top of my head and the convertible top headliner, so it's not like my face is up in the wind or anything... But, I adjust the rearview mirror to what seems like its upper limit, and I'm still getting 2/3 of the view staring at my back seat, with only a sliver of rear decklid and what's behind me (without bending down). Is this a common problem, and/or is there a fix for it?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, i face the same issue with my 24 GT non convertible.

Whoever designed the mirror joint should be fired. I can't see through it properly since day 1.

I’m surprised no one has come up with a solution for this. Maybe something as simple as a longer rod or extension that would allow you to articulate the mirror up further? Or maybe another Ford vehicle has a mirror that could be swapped to achieve that?

Same thing here on my 24 and the 26th I just got. I figured out the move to the left to help it but still whoever designed it obviously never looked into it.

I'm 5'9", seat to the floor, and drive close to the wheel and have a problem with the mirror. I have more back seat than I want!

I've noticed this as well. The way ive gotten around it is to move mirror to the left a bit more then you can move it up a bit more. It doesn’t help completely but helps. šŸ» cheers.
this.

I've got a few inches on you, and the rear view was one of the first thing I noticed when I sat down to get my seating position right. The left trick made it adequate with the top up. And it is great with the top down which is the vast majority of my driving.
