@OnlyNonScout ..... engine oil consumption of that amount is not normal unless you are really beating the $hit out of it which I doubt. I assume you checked your oil level after the last fill. I recently had an oil fill that was down a quart. I pre-purchase the oil from the Ford dealer's parts department to get their FULL synthetic (and to avoid the shop bulk "whatever" oil is the flavor of the day) and then give it to the tech. I went in to see him at his bench and guess what was sitting on his bench..... yep, the 10th quart. Before I started letting them rip into the engine I'd put some miles on it after you verified the oil level in cold mode. Drips are easy to see - stem seal problems will be smoke out the pipes at that consumption rate. Good luck. BTW the tranny can be re-programmed to oem by any decent tech. The 10R80 is a good tranny and your issue should be easy to solve.

Hi @OnlyNonScout ,

What ever came of your oil loss? Was it as simple as the tech did not fill the engine correctly, or is it something more involved? Has the dealer provided any feedback yet?

Guess I'm lucky. Mine doesn't seem to have used a drop (so far--only about 3600 mi though). No A10 issues either! 🤞

Ford gave me the same BS, a week just to check the trans fluid level and run diagnostics, no thanks.

A10 shudder 4th to 5th gear is known and normal, I have it. Also the adaptive learning tables could be acting up. I cleared mine in FORScan and it helped smooth out shifts and no more hunting for gears.

Have you had the trans fluid levels checked? These have been known to be a little low and cause shifting issues.
How’d you clear it in forscan?

Interesting. What changed after? How often must this be done?
Much smoother shifts and no more hunting for gears in Normal Mode, a bit more responsive in Sport and Track. Only cleared it twice, been 6 months now and still feels good, though I have learned where the sweet spots are for the car now. 4K - 5K RPM is where the car wakes up, unfortunately for street 100mph+ happens real quick.
I wish it would wake up sooner, maybe after we can tune these things

Hmm. Haven’t had issues hunting, but maybe I’ll try it. And yeah coyotes are top end machines.
