Margins for the manufacturer? Difficult to determine as each option has a different cost basis, they probably make the most on some of the least expected options. Eg: Fast food chains largest margins on the beverages.
On my order there were a few pricey options I needed, and a few I could not...
AE and NP were well worth it. The $3K 401A was tough to check though glad i did.
I did skip the PP box, for my taste, basically $5K for a spoiler and wheels that I did not like as much as NP
First off let me say, I love my 24 GT. Damn glad I didn't wait for the 60th AE, what a disappointment. After seeing this, along with some the last few moves on the Mustang, starting to make me doubt there will ever be a 70th.
Not that I gave a fuck, the OTA update is a joke,
Maybe different on Eco, my GT A10 shifts smooth as silk, sometimes it hunts for gears downshifting though it is still in the learning stage, under 1K miles.
Honestly I though I would use the paddle shifters more than I do, since it has a rev limiter, to me it's useless, the car does much better...
Mine was built 12/7 and had zero issues withe the SYNC/infotainment system.
Got the OTA update a week ago now it is slower to boot up, it is glitchy at times and the My Color keeps reverting to orange.
Thanks, yeah you suggested that on my post. I looked into it, that would do the job, just not thrilled on adding a device. Was hoping in the future this would be something that can be tuned? Or are those response calculations hard programmed by Ford, unable to be adjusted?
Since I bought mine before 4/17/24, anything special OTA update is cool I guess.
Personally I would be thrilled with an OTA update giving me a better throttle response
I haven't much as I read it was programmed to reduce tire spin. I'll give it a run for awhile, though from what others here have mentioned, the lag is due to electronic throttle by wire, my last GT was an 88, when you hit the pedal, instant response.
Someone mentioned a device, "Pedal...
Maybe not broken in yet, A10 does short shift slightly. In M mode the rev limiter chokes you. What happened to the owners choice or ignorance to ruin an engine?
Worse to me is the throttle response, in any mode, is horrid. I don't want to but a device, anyone know if at some point, might be...
If you are sure in D, it should not be hitting the rev limiter. Pedal to the floor never had it rev limit, it always shifts perfect
Still getting use to paddles, never had them always a manual. Hit the rev limit a few times with the paddles cause you have to shift so quick. I mainly play in D...
Just curious cause your profile pic, was the car sitting frozen cold for awhile, then heated up? I noticed today after my OTA update how warm the back of the screen gets. Glass or plastic, cold to hot= crack?
Just a guess, in any event stay on them to fix it
I think regular is for the Base model  I only use Premium in my Premium...lol Seriously though reg wont hurt, probably wouldn't even notice the difference. I only premium, gas is high regardless so why not get the octane
Normal, this engine cranks loud, especially a cold start, 45 seconds to get the juices flowing. Quiet Start or not, that's as quiet as your gonna get. BTW Quiet Start does not work with remote start
