So when is the cut-off for 2026 production? My order went in on April 22nd and it has been unscheduled clean since it was put in. If it does not get built in August, will it then transfer to a 2027 model? I was hoping to have this thing to at least use for some of the summer but this is starting to get irritating....

I wish you luck. Mine went in on April 21 and I finally gave up. I literally just got home from buying a GT500 instead. I cancelled the Dark Horse.

in 2024 ordered mine in April, knowing I needed it in July in order to break it in, then drive it to FL where it was going to stay.

By the middle of June I had heard nothing and the dealer I ordered it from was no help, so I looked online and found one that had everything I ordered except for the 3.55 gears, and the dealer that had it was one I had a long relationship with so one phone call to see if they would take X plan pricing, a 15 minute chat with a salesman, not even a test drive and I bought the car on the spot.

In 1987 I tried to buy a LX notchback air delete car and was knocked off the list for some reason, they cancelled a whole bunch of orders.

It took me til 2020 to get my 2007 (with 8400 miles on it) and 2024 to finally get my 5.0

Another item crossed off the bucket list

Ford is still taking orders for 2026. Production can continue as late as September.

A Canadian spec. IIRC there are Canadian-only production runs; this might be why the order remains unscheduled.

As this generation will continue into the 2027 Model Year, they wouldn't stop making 26s until just before October. In years past, Ford will crank the line to full-speed, completing as many orders as possible before the MY ends.

Writing that, I wouldn't be surprised if Ford had one last Canada run, completing all unfilled orders in one go.

From reading others' posts, because of price and device changes in the coming season, unfilled orders are cancelled when the current Model Year production ends.

The worst thing is that our winters start early up here so if I don't get it by early October it will have to be parked until May with the warranty just wasting away on it.
I have looked all over Canada for something that I liked but everything that is in stock is either a convertible, auto, has recaro seats or has some weird combination of options.
The Canadian thing makes sense though. The salesman said he has been in contact with other dealers and they have not had any cars scheduled since before April either. You would think that Ford would realize that we have shorter summers so they would get cars out to people a little earlier.
