How do you close your trunk? Without a handle . . .

+1. There's really no good way. About every 3 or 4 days I use a detailer spray to wipe off the fingerprints. 🫤

That strap idea looks pretty good. Certainly better than the one that you have to cut the latch housing to install.

I have this on mine. I didn't cut, I just have it running out the bottom. Works good.

Birds? Don't get me started. We live near a nesting area for Canadian Cobra Chickens aka Canada Geese by the dozen, Those sods have the bomb load of a B52 and the accuracy of a Stuka.

You mean these things actually fly?

Hell yes. When they fly over I feel like an NVA with a bullseye on the top of my head.
Ours aren't as agressive as others seem to be though.

I've had my brand new GT Premium for almost a whole week now. Love the car!

One thing I find missing (which other cars seem to always have these days) is a handle or hand grip inside the trunk, so you can close it without touching & smudging the exterior paint. I end up reaching up and around, trying to touch the "GT" emblem to push the lid down -- which is kind of awkward.

How do you guys do it? Is there an accessory or add-on part available to install a handle inside the trunk lid?

I keep one microfiber cloth loose in the trunk. Partially close the trunk lid, throw the cloth into the trunk, and close the lid by touching the brake light. Easy-peasy. Glenn

Right there with ya. My area is in a Canadian Goose fly way. South in the fall, and back up north now. Plus we've got a substantial population of them that live in/around my village year round.

I'm negotiating with the Romanian Army right now; trying to buy a used Gepard for anti goose defense.
